I am one of those people who don't like lots of gore in their films - so this satisfied completely. It had its "jumpy" moments - but overall managed to be really creepy and scary without the need for loads of violence and left you questioning all the way through - nothing was predictable - which kept me glued. Even at the end I still wasn't sure how the room came about - but that is Stephen King for you - he doesnt fill in all the blanks so it as you perseive it. Excellant film would recommend.

Monk - still crazy after all these seasons. And, let's face it, there have been two or three too many. Bitty Schram's sudden departure (apparently because she was paid less than everyone else) midway through season three ripped the heart out of the show, and the basic dynamics between the central characters have never worked since. Traylor "Trash" Howard (probably not her real nickname) just doesn't compare. Season six is fine, just as adequate as the previous two. There are some decent celebrity cameos from Sarah Silverman (reprising her role as Adrian's obsessed number one fan), Snoop Dogg (yes, Snoop Dogg) and Alfred Molina. This wasn't a particularly amusing movie and I would say its strongest point was its special effects.The story lacked credibility and failed to draw me into the world the writers had tried to create.This was largely because Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith just didn't seem as scared of the aliens as I think people would be in real life ( particularly aliens this ugly and nasty)and there was no development of characters - their personalities were exactly the same at the end of the film as they were at the beginning.I'd heard a lot about Men In Black and I've gotta say that it is overrated and the 1980s film Ghostbusters with Bill Murray is funnier and way more interesting to watch.

I've watched this film at least 10 times. It's simply hilarious. It's not actually taking the mickey out of Star Trek, rather a tribute to the actors who play in Star Trek. One of the funniest and definitely the most underrated comedy films out there. You need to watch this film a few times to catch all the jokes so it's a perfect DVD purchase. There are so many classic moments such as the captain getting his shirt ripped Captain Kirk style and the Klingon types in the toilet at the Trekkie conference.

These two films are briliant because their not from the point of veiw that aliens are big scary monsters their just normal. Its about how aliens are just trying to live their lives on Earth. Will Smith is great in the films aswell as he brings some real funny moments but the one liners and reactions of tommy lee jones are the best. Loads of extra stuff aswell. Including how all the aliens were made because their not all fake looking CGI things. The films have got something for everyone.

I watched this movie on Blu-Ray last night and to be honest I just can't say enough good things about it Its great buy it and watch it again and again

Thirteen Ghosts is a remake of a 1960's film of the same title created by the brilliant William Castle. The film follows a man and his children who become trapped in a ghost ridden house that they've inherited from Cyrus (the man's eccentric uncle.) Trapped along with them are a psychic, a lawyer, and a ghost hunter. Thirteen Ghosts is a bit different from your standard horror, and it goes without saying that I doubt that this it's the kind of film that everyone will find scary. But for me at least it worked. As this is probably one of the greatest ghost films I've ever seen. The bathroom scene especially, which has been done really well comes to mind. Not to mention when the lawyer 'splits.' This movie is full of action, adventure and creative characters without being violent and scary. My two boys loved it. It was loads of fun for my husband and I as well as there is plenty of comedy that transends generations. We have seen Spy Kids 2 as well but can't reccomend it as it contains more violence and the characters were pretty scary.
