This is one of those shows that you can always remember seeing in the late evening, and never really understand what's going on. But you are always sure of one thing......it's making you laugh....A LOT!

This heralds the start of the "other" solo series Dawn was so well known for. And what an interesting start it is! Murders involving freemasons, cruel Kids TV hosts, it doesn't get any better than this!

Now why only four stars, well that is purely down to the extras. I.e: other than the couple of commentaries they don't exist.

A good buy if you like classic comedy/crime, so lets hope the rest get released soon!

This british film of the late nineties is pretty average, but whom I kidding, I only brought it for Samantha Janus naked in the shower, and for that reason it's one of the greatest films ever!

DVD : Carry On Columbus (DVD) [1992]
The only carry on that really does not work...why?

Well for a start most of the cast had passed away, leaving Jim Dale with a bunch of newbies who were not brought up in old school comedy.

Like most other tv / film updates, the film completely fails to capture the era and essence of the carry on film.

A complete disaster, buy Carry on Dick instead.

DVD : Cold Blood - Complete Series 1
Cold Blood - Series 1 - Matthew Kelly as the cold-blooded serial killer could be cunning, manipulative, charming and intelligent one minute; and positively terrifying the next! You never knew what was really going on in his mind from one minute to the next. When he was on screen, you could not take your eyes off of him! He was a very complicated character who was also fascinating to watch!

Jemma Redgrave gave a wonderful performance as the detective who stood up to this cunning and cold-blooded serial killer. She was a very brave and intelligent character, yet still managed to show a soft and feminine side. She made you care about what was happening to her and what she was thinking. It must be really frightening for a woman to go into a ... Read More:

I bought this after seeing it on TV. Straight away I watched it again. Read the reviews, then buy it - it's not like it's going to break the bank! Well worth the watch as it is a touching drama with a great storyline!

This is my favourite film of all time. I know that there are better films, with bigger budgets and stars and all that, but this one is so well written and put together. For me Neil Jordan is a genius. I have watched this film numerous times, in various languages - my girlfriend is German and we each have a copy so sometimes we watch the film in English and sometimes in German, and I once caught it on the TV in Italy dubbed into Italian! The big surprise is a surprise no longer but we still find that scene superb. Unlike some other reviewers we find Jaye Davidson's performance convincing, but then my girlfriend shares Dil's secret so we know something about the subject. Overall a film to watch at least once and one that you may come back to again and again as we do.

Although Tony Slattery has a habit of popping up everywhere, in "To Die For" he is a real gem. The whole cast of this film, together with Tony, create a wonderfully funny and enjoyable piece. If you are gay or gay-friendly, this film is a must see. If not, you are sure to find it a real laugh anyway. It is entertaining and a great laugh. This film will without doubt leave every viewer with a sense of fun and happiness and should be ordered immediately!

DVD : Up 'n' Under [1998]
This film is a comedy which means that you dont take the rugby scenes or the rules of rugby etc seriously, its about the good winning the battle against bad, the soundtrack is excellent and the down to earth attitude of the actors is great, especially the part of the commentator which is played by Gryff Rhys Jones, and Neil Morrissey is great.
Very watchable and funny film
