I'd only ever heard of the show through the internet & purchased the series on what clips i'd seen from the show - i'm so glad I did, it has to be one of the most refreshing and pure-escapism tv shows put out in a while. The first series seems a little off the wall at first but the series evens out, the more episodes you watch. Trash tv for sure, but alot of fun to watch, and incredibly camp and OTT. Tracy Scoggins in particular, Makes Dante's well worth checking out as evil Grace! Hot men, hot women, pure madness and hammy acting...bring on season 4

Not a feature length piece, more like finding two unseen episodes of series 5. The two pieces are stand alone, relatively slow paced episodes, focusing on a single dilemma in each.

They lack the interconnected richness of the greatest arc episodes, and of course they lack the full cast and station atmosphere, but I enjoyed them both and was glad for the new additions to the series.

The cast, old and new, was excellent, the special effects have jumped forward again, and the new look slightly edgy cinematography was intriguing.

Not having particular expectations of The Lost Tales helped me take it at face value. Since I'd only just caught up with series 5 for the first time, I didn't have a 9 year wait for this ... Read More:

ThirdSpace is average, Call to arms borders on the pathetic and the only movie that is really worth watching out of the set is River of Souls.

ThirdSpace: Cool idea which simply did not fit the format. It would have taken at least 4-5 episodes in order to develop it fully to the same depth as the Babylon main line. It was cramped into a small feature movie instead. It is clearly missing the depth of the Babylon 5 mainline. Some tolerable special effects, lots of holes in the plot and a really cheesy and stitch-ed up ending.

Call to Arms: Worse than an average Babylon 5 episode. Its only right to existence is to provide the link between the Crusader and Babylon 5. There are so many inconsistencies that it is not even funny. On top of that ... Read More:

...the axing of this series was the most criminal. Yes, I watched it on TV when it first came out, and no it just didn't seem to measure up to B5. Anyway I've bought the series just as a father/son bonding thing cos I did share B5 with him. I am a recovering alcoholic, going through horrid withdrawal just now and asking some very difficult and painful questions of myself. Being a modern, scientifically minded man I can get no comfort from standard religion. Tonight I was in the blackest of moods and my dear wife sat us down for our evening episode and we watched the one called 'Path of Sorrows'. It was like JMS (Series creator/writer) was talking directly to me, answering the very questions I had been failing to find positive answers to just an hour before. It was quite ... Read More:

In this modern (read early 90's) take on the classic American Superhero, things are pretty much as we'd expect. Clark Kent (Dean Cain) has moved to Metropolis and gotten a job at the Daily Planet. He is teamed with investigative reporter Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher) as they investigate stories for the newspaper under the demanding eye of editor Perry White (Lane Smith). Rounding out the newspaper staff is eager young reporter/photographer Jimmy Olsen (Michael Landes) and society (gossip) columnist Cat Grant (Tracy Scoggin).

But Clark Kent has a secret. He's not a normal human but a man with extraordinary superpowers. In order to keep that a secret, he takes on the identity of Superman, a fact that comes in handy since many of the stories he a Lois investigate seem to include ... Read More:

its a nice addition to the b5 universe.
i understand some of the criticisms of the reviewers but you have to take into account the restrictions with which jms had to work.
the budget is very obviously very small and as such i believe he has done a good job
how do you write and produce a good sci fi on a shoestring
if you look at the majority of the big american sci fi series and then compare it to what he had to work with on the original series and even more so on this,i defy anyone to do a better job
i feel that these days most people want to see action and fast punchy story lines all the time ,b5 was always a bit different becuase although it had action there was always a cerebral quality to the stories.
these stories are just a natural continuation ... Read More:

This series is such a joke, it's beyond ridiculous! Of course everyone gets lured in because of the hot guys, and steamy sex scenes. Look they get 5 stars for those two aspects, i'll give them that! The rest is simply crap! The acting is so bad, it makes Baywatch look like an Emmy TV Series. LOL! The plots are all over the place. The only thing binding the whole show together is the steamy sex scenes, which are really explicit and raunchy! But aside from that, the Series has nothing going for it. It's boring and predictable, and I certainly won't be buying Season 2! Give it a MISS!! :(

Being a huge fan of Chuck Norris,I was very interested to see what this film was like. For a while,I really thought Chuck was going to lose his fight against the bad guy's henchman. How could I think such a thing? Chuck always wins! The bad guys are pretty nasty, especially with the German SS involved.Fortunately, our hero prevails, but had to admit, that it was touch and go!Even so,its a hugely enjoyable action film, and best part is where the bad guys get their comeuppance!

WOW! I loved the first series enough to buy this one and I wasn't disappointed. The first season left off on a cliffhanger more intruiging than "who shot JR" (maybe I exaggerate a little) so I had to buy series two and this gem just gets better and better. The cast is more interesting, the plot is better, the lightning effects machine is being given a bit of a rest.
If you bought the first, then buy the second, you shouldn't even be wasting time reading reviews, you should be frantically clicking "BUY". And if you haven't seen the first series then why not? Buy them both. This is possibly my favourite gay/sci-fi/soap-opera ever!
