Wrestlemania 20,and 20 years in the making,and 'where it all begins ....again'.This tagline was fitting because the event was staged as it was twenty years earlier in madison square garden,new york,the wwe could have filled out an arena three times the size but the garden has been good to the wwe and vice versa so it was fitting to return. In 1985 when vince mcmahon launched the event he could never have imagined the success that it would create,never,in 1985 vince mixed with MTV to get a host of star names to help the event along,these days stars of tv and music beg to get a chance to feature in any way,thats success folks. I agree with my fellow reviewers who state that the undercard here wasnt the best,it wasnt the most gratifying,nor memorable with one notable exception and that being the last man standing match between shawn michaels and triple h,aside from that the event seemed rush and didnt really stamp glory all over the place. The opening tables match looked good on paper,ric flair along with batista vs the dudley boyz,rarely have the dudleys looked so out of place in a match they were made for,not the best although its always good watching flair ham it up. Next up was a three minute match that is perfect if you want to boil an egg,rey mysterio vs jamie noble,poor and simple match with little in the way of quality or edge of your seat drama,well none in fact. this event is not bad but not 1 of wwe greatest their are slow and boring matches like stiner vs test (for the hundreth time) but some good fast pase matches like flair vs hbk this hell in a cell will never go down as a classic but it isnt a bad matches

Great American Bash 1. Fatal 4 Way WWE Tag Team Championship Match- John Morrison and The Miz vs Jesse and Festus vs Hawkins and Ryder vs Finlay and Hornswoggle * I Really liked this match, good energy and a solid start to the ppv 2.WWE United States Championship- Matt Hardy vs Shelton Benjamin I was hoping for a better match, it wasn't terrible but the boring restholds pulled the rating down a touch the 2nd star was for the finish which was the good part of the match 3.ECW Championship- Mark Henry vs Tommy Dreamer * Well pretty average stuff here, a short match but it was ok we even got a heel turn in the match which surprised me! 4.WWE Divas Championship- Natalya vs Michelle McCool * ... Some of my fellow reviewers have stated this is the best wrestlemania of them all,they arent far of the mark in all fairness,this has a great card and lives up to the expectations of that card,i aint gonna say its nailed on perfection but i rate this event highly. The tagline was mania goes hollywood as that was the location of the event,plenty of promos were shot with a homage to films with WWE stars playing roles and this built up the interest levels to feverish highs,the promos all feature on this three disc boxset so dont panic. The event started off with a bomb with eddie guerrero going up against rey mysterio,this feud in some ways at this point had run its course but this match was mint and the feud went all the way to summerslam on the back of this great performance from both ... Coming hot on the heels of taboo tuesday which was very average,survivor series followed and raised the bar higher but not to a grand scale,in other words,this didnt live up to the hype aimed at it. The event started with a reasonable level of quality in a fatal four way for teh cruiserweight title involving the champ spike dudley,chavo,billy kidman and rey mysterio,in truth all men were capable of better,and certainly i have seen many a cruiserweight match that would have this one blushing with shame,that being said ,this still had some quality but not quite the heart attack it should have been in my opinion. This match was followed by a match of sheer quality,the intercontiental champion shelton benjamin went up against christian in a match that was as good as it sounds,a very pacey,highly charged ... September 2003 and the RAW brand got its chance to shine,following on from a good summerslam and keeping the crowds entertained was the object but in truth this event isnt that good,well,to put it another way it isnt consistent enough. The event opened with a handicap tables match for the world tag team championship,the dudley boyz going up against rob conway and la resistance,who were the champions at this time.This match was watchable and decent but nothing more than that,it was a bit rough and ready and didnt flow that well,but i have seen worse and there was certainly some good table action. Scott steiner went up against test next and the winner got stacey keibler as their property,a very silly idea indeed,anyway,this match was poor which we all expected,these men had fought before and stank the place out ...
