The sequel to the hyped up musical event of 2006:High School Musical. When this first came out I did have doubts about it as many had said the first one was annoying and this and that. I had never seen the first one before i saw number 2. I admit to first seeing it as a dare from my immature friends and i actually enjoyed it. It has an ok story line, fun jump about and dance songs and some great lyrics. All of the cast have done a brilliant job on this film. And seriously, if ur one of those people who refuses to watch it cos its uncool or whatever, I did and i think its great. and a great follow up to HSM. Awesome film, don't miss out.

After accidentally buying 6 copies of this film, I decided I'd watch it until I loved it. It was pure cheese, with precious American teens singing in often nasal voices. On the surface it's something that I would usually hate - but somehow, it drew me in. This isn't to say that the plot was thrilling, well written, or easily defined as a plot at all - but it was enough to keep me in my seat and entertained well enough. Even though this isn't a shining review - I would recommend watching it if it's available to borrow - but not worth buying perhaps.

this concert is just amazing for any high school musical fan how ever big or small and no matter what age.includes high school musical hits and some solo songs "showcases" off some solo albums.it is a shame zac is not in the cncert but you can easily get past that and enjoy it from start to finish.with dancing and fireworks you just cant go wrong. its just a shame i dont live in america so i could of went :)

I'm writing this review for my 7 year old daughter. She thinks that this film is great. The singing is good, the dancing is good, the acting is good, the story is good - if you are a 7 old year old girl then the whole thing is great. From a parental point of view you can put this film on and let children watch it. There are no nasty undertones, like there are in Grease (which is mentioned in one of the other reviews), everythng is whiter than white, even the "nasty" characters all turn out good in the end. If you have a daughter then she will probably be singing and dancing to this for years - my son, however, can do without it.

The High School Musical films are my absolute favourites - and the favourites of most of my friends too. This is the ultimate collection of the films, if you are as big a fan as me then buy this!

High school musical is to chessy with a bad storyline. There is to much hype about high school musical and in truth it is really terrible. DON'T BUY THIS DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but this movie destroyed a classic! It's spy-kids in space! This movie could have been the beginning of a very successful movie series like Star Wars or Star trek. Why aim it exclusively at 6 year olds? The fact that you can now pick up the DVD for £1 in bargain bins anywhere says it all. The actors were mis-cast, (except Ben Kingsley who was excellent as the hood) FAB 1 was a FORD!!!!, the Thunderbirds craft were ok, but had none of the original 'style' of the TV craft. I mean, TB2 is a world famous icon now. Why mess with it??? The SFX were APPALLING!!! I've seen beter computer graphics on old Amstrad games! And worst of all, the story was RUBBISH!
