I cannot describe it at all.
Touching, moving, passionate.
None of these words do Titanic justice.
A TRUE tear-jerker.
The way the lead roles act is overpowering.
And the sheer terror of the sinking really touches your heart.
If you have not already, buy this film.
Please!
I'll buy it for you if I have to!!

DVD : Sleepless in Seattle [1993]
Tom Hanks (Big) stars as Sam, a single parent. A year after losing his wife, he is struggling with the loss and to help him, his son Jonah phones a radio station to ask for advice, and Annie from Baltimore hears and knows she must meet up with Sam.

Filled with plenty of romantic conventions, Nora Ephron's 1993 romantic drama creates a light hearted feel good film, with funny and dramatic moments for viewers of all ages.

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan (When Harry met Sally), in their first collaboration, are perfect in their respective role, especially Ryan who is very funny, where as Hanks takes the more serious roles, which he is always perfect at.

But the actor who steals the show is Ross Maligner, who is exceptional ... Read More:

Having been addicted to the brilliant Alias on DVD since picking up S1 a few months ago, I was both saddened and excited to begin my journey into the final season.

Season 5 is plagued by some major production problems, all of which are obvious from the moment you start watching: (1) Jennifer Garner is pregnant, and thus doesn't get so many fight scenes. The story was very obviously rewritten around her pregnancy, but to their credit the writers didn't try to hide her baby-tummy, instead they made Sydney Bristow pregnant as part of the story. But they also were forced to shoe-horn in two new agents to take up the slack. (2) Some of the actors weren't around to partake in the final series very much, and were very awkwardly written out for ... Read More:

This is a comedy-drama detailing the story of Elle Wood onetime fashion major student at University of California and her transformation from a `superficial blonde air-head' to a `brilliant Harvard law graduate'. All this having come about because her boyfriend, Warner Huntingdon the 3rd dumped her on getting admitted to Harvard Law. In pursuit of him she passed the SAT and got into Harvard Law only to find that he was now engaged to his old flame, another Law student called Vivian. When it became obvious that he will never consider her good enough for him, she had to go into self discovery mode to prove that she was as academically brilliant as the rest of them, if not better. This movie is laced with great comedy while telling a great story on self discovery, self believe ... Read More:

After reading other reviews slating this film for a less exciting ending and having missing songs.... please read up on the history of this musical. It is a stage production and this Disney version stays very true to the stage musical and score. There are still omissions, in particular the Herbert Hoover song by the homeless people and also the Tomorrow song in the White House. But in the main it is a much more realistic adaptation than the Aileen Quinn 1981 film which just changed huge chunks and added songs (like the hideous Let's Go to the Movies sequence instead of the much more captivating NYC). How anyone can prefer the 1981 version is beyond me, the characters of Annie, Grace and Warbucks are so much more likeable in this one and Kathy Bates is believable as Miss Hannigan ... Read More:

I agree with others that this series failed to live up to the previous 2 seasons, but it is still worth a look. While I found the Sark/Lauren relationship a little hard to believe, the ongoing Sloane saga leaves you wondering just what exactly the man is up to.
My biggest disappointment I confess is patriotic, while I'm unaware of how authentic the details are in relation to other countries, the Episode pertaining to Belfast was rather poorly researched, showing footage of Dublin rather than Belfast, and a pub scene that was more akin to the 1940s that the 1990s! I'll not even mention the accents!
I bought the box set in the end due to poor coverage on British TV and it was definitely worth every penny. This show will definitely remain a firm favourite for many years to come.

I have just brought this title after seeing the film on sky movies, I have not read the book, but Im not sure I need to.
I dare anyone to watch this and not be thinking about it and the
questions it raises for days afterwards. It is an absolutely brilliant and thought provoking film, especially when Jesse returns, youl understand this sentence if you watch the film.
It leaves me with many thoughts to think about and I have now watched this four times and still end up thinking deeply about it afterwards. The romance added in the film which apparently isnt in the book, just makes the film and makes for alot more deep thinking. A truly wonderful film and I dont say this lightly I dont think Ive ever reviewed anything else I have read or seen. Fantastic, a film to treasure and watch again ... Read More:

I think Whoopie is amazing. This film is a really nice, warm, under the duvet, eating junk food kind of film. Very Christmassy, suitable for all ages.
