I was pointed in the direction of this movie by a friend of mine. I laughed so hard all the way through. Weird Al, is now in sole charge of a T.V station. and while things don't go so smoothly (even his girlfriend breaks up with him) there are laughs a plenty along the way. Of worthy note is Kevin McCarthy, briiliant as the owner of a rival T.V station who will stop at nothing to close Al's little operation. Laughs a plenty ensure there is never a dull moment Brilliant!

This quite a unique movie. It's worth a watch regardless of what others might say.

I Love You To Death tells a [true] story about a cheating husband trying to be knocked off by his wife. Poisoning is the first choice. When the over dose of pills don't work, they ask a very love struck bus boy to pull the trigger. There last resort is to hire 2 very drugged up "hitman."

Kevin Kline, Tracey Ullman, Joan Plowright are very good playing this slightly dysfunctional family. River Phoenix is also very convincing as a moonstruck, busboy. And there is William Hurt and Keanu Reeves. I do have to agree with the person whose comment said, "They make Dumb and Dumber look like yale graduates."

I brought this movie because I love Vivica Fox and Shemar Moore. She is great in the movie as usual but I thought Shemar was exciting to watch! Golden Brooks is also interesting to watch.
The plot of the film is crazy!! The twists alongside the lies and deceit give this movie a definete thumbs up. The sex and suspense has you feeling like 'O'H MY GOD' towards the end.

This movie is now gonna b in my TOP TEN (GO WATCH)

This is a well-crafted, very funny and expertly written film that succeeds in making me laugh on repeated viewings. Ackroyd and Matthau work so well together and, unlike so many comedies of this type, is not over the top. The delivery is just very subtle and the whole movie well-paced, with a clever and unpredictable ending. It's really a gentle but ever-so-slightly manic(?)satire on TV psychiatry. And just when you think it's all over, listen to the beautiful Michel Colombier end titles score, played by the Canadian Brass - two and a bit minutes of blissful music that should be regularly aired on Classic FM.

Jeana (Estella Warren) has never quite made it over the threshold and had sex. When things get a little heated with new boyfriend Tom (Michael Weatherly of "NCIS"), Sacramento's hot newscaster, she admits her virginity. Stunned, he blurts it out over the air while prepping for a story, and to Jeana's horror, she is a laughingstock at work, the pro-virginity gurus want her as a poster girl, the media won't leave her alone, and men keep coming up to offer to make a woman out of her. Then she meets quiet photographer Paul (Christian Kane), who works with Tom but has no idea that the sexy new gal he is friends with was in a relationship with a blowhard like Tom.

Meanwhile, Jeana wants to get her hands on the cruise tickets to Brazil to ... Read More:

It's quite ironic that under normal circumstances, a theatrical movie based around a novel is usually rushed and misses key parts of the plot (The Beach, for example...), yet Family Business, though based on a novel, feels the opposite... drawn out, and lacking a drive.

My hat (proverbial - baseball caps aren't "cool" any more) goes off to Dustan Hoffman, Sean Connery, and Matthew Broderick for pulling off wonderful mature performances in, what is, quite a serious film with its odd silly moment. Though this doesn't deter from what's missing; substance. The plot is their, as is the well explained story, the medicore directing, camera work, and use of time prevents the film from flowing nicer. Instead, the film feels like its been stretched ... Read More:
