after the tension created in series 1 and 2, i was hoping a return to the prison escape format would keep it going but this is a step too far. some of the acting by the newer characters is sub-schoolplay level, and has made me seriously consider whether to bother with series 4

Its not often I bother to write reviews but I have enjoyed Prison Break so much I just have to write to say its the best tv I have ever seen. I was gripped from start to finish, sat on the edge of my seat and glued to the screen. Brilliant casting, superb acting and amazing writers. The plot twists and turns - its full of adventure along with cliff hangers in each and every episode. Its been worth every penny...I am completely hooked and now a huge fan.

Jarhead starts out in boot camp with new recruits and a sadistic drill instructor - and you think you know what is coming next. Bonding, heroism and death in the heat of battle. But that is not how Jarhead goes. Instead what we get is a realistic(ish) view of the experience a youg marine in the period leading up to and including the first gulf war. We see young men driven half crazy with boredom and frustration as they wait for the war to start. It is an unjudgemental film that is uncomfortable viewing at times. I lags a bit a points - difficult to make boredom interesting - and while I haven't read the autobiography this is based on it is clear some events have have been changed to increase the drama. Prison Break season 2 is amazing!! I wasn't sure about watching it after the first season (as the first season was SO good and exciting), I didn't know how they would keep us going for another season. But it really doesn't disappoint. Season 2, part 2 has all the excitment, drama and nail-biting moments that you could wish for. The charactors are brilliant, especially t-bag, sucre and bellick. It will keep you on the edge of your seat right up until the very last second.............. If you are a fan of 24, then you will love Prison Break. If you like action, drama and can't wait to find out what happens on the next episode so bad you stay up all night and then realise it's time to go to work....then you'll love Prison Break!!

If you don't like films that are straight to the point or show things exactly how they are without the gloss then I'd avoid this but otherwise I'd definitely recommend you view it. This is a film full of the gritty truth that is teenage life and isn't just another glossy hollywood export. It doesn't deny what really goes on behind closed doors or make things appear so much better than they are. If you want a real view of teenagers then maybe this is the one for you. Of course there are always going to be the critics that say this is practically pornography and in a way they have a point. The difference is that this isn't designed to tittilate, it's designed to show reality. Sex is something that teenagers go through and this is something that is explored here along ... Read More:

Tony Todd at his most menacing. Given its low budget, it manages to be much scarier than many glossy horror movies, and has several top quality shock scenes. You can almost smell the grime oozing from the blocks of flats, and the protagonists descent into her own personal hell is very well handled. It succeeded in spooking me so much that I gave myself a fright looking in the mirror on the way to bed

As the season moves on the episodes just get more exciting, the finale of season one leaves so many unanswered questions you find yourself desperate to know the outcome in season two Brilliantly acted and written 5*****

It is a good film, even it is funny. Dooley tried to teach Jerry Lee to jump off the roof, but he refused to do it. In the end he finally do it, and push the gunman off! Which make me more happy. The reason I bought it because of my favourite Dog - German Shepherd Dog. Ever funny when the car had been crash, it being bought back to Dooley's house, Dooley called Jerry but he is not in the house, he is outside, sitting in the ruined car. As if he missed it. Make me sad when he do it.

Prison Break is awesome but I ordered this very version off amazon 2 weeks before Christmas 07 and they kept telling me it was on its way, and finally at the end of January they've told me they can't get hold of it. I have no idea why they're still advertising it, but I suggest you don't order it off here unless you want to take your chances. I did of course get my money back, but it's still wasted 2 months of my time and I'm now without it having ordered it as a Christmas present for someone. How they can still advertise it if its not available I don't know...
