An enjoyable film , but not as powerful or as moving as the film Amistad in conveying the cruelty and injustice of slavery. Despite this, an enjoyable film, especially the rousing bagpipe rendition of Amazing Grace at the end which was worth the price of the DVD alone.

As a Youssou N'dour fan for many years I was waiting anxiously to see this new dvd. As I put it on I was quite struck by the poor picture quality and poor sound quality. And for further dissapointment it only contains 4 songs! I must say it's not worth buying except you're a total fan and need to collect any of Youssou's work. The only positive side of this dvd is that it contains an interview which is of some interest. The overall production is very poor, even the packaging is unappealing and lacks information. So if you are wondering whether you should buy it or not, DON'T! It doesn't do Youssou N'Dour justice at all.
