What a heart pounding thriller. Plots about assassinations are always exciting but this had a particular twist to it, being that the same event was repeated from different character's perspectives. What follows is a hair-raising helter skelter of events, each character noticing different significant moments that no one else knew of. A really good film and some stunning performances from Quaid and Hurt.

Swashbuckling pirates, cursed baddies, sea battles, sword fighting, danger and a good deal of rum - WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?!? Johnny Depp's FAB! With a great array of back-stage animators creating the 'cursed' affect, Pirates of the Caribbean is your perfect family film! Plus, it's absolutely hilarious! Some say this is the best, but I'll leave that to you to decide. But there is one thing I DO know - and that is that after you've watched POTC 1, there's no stopping you until you've seen all three!!!

I love this movie, I've done ballet since i was small so i can really appreciate this movie. If you dance you will definatly like this however, if you don't really like dance this may be a little boring, as the story is based around a ballet company. This always makes me wanna dance if i'm finding it hard to get into the dancing spirt i just watch this and i just wanna dance hahaha!!! but over all its a good movie though some could find it a little dull!

Got this DVD frre with a Samsung BDP1500 bluray player so I didn't think it would be very good. How wrong, could I be. Kept me and my family enthralled with its twisting and turning plot. Great action sequences that will keep you on the end of your seat. Absolutely stunning in bluray.

For those that have not even picked up a musical instrument before. This film is sassy and witty with a good storyline. The acting is above par, for a teen movie and it has the credentials of a classic teen movie. Shame that it got little publicity.

As stated above, you already know if you are going to like this film or not. In my case not. I simply do not want to accept that after the 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' music video she believes her audience is young girls... talk about over-sexualisation and exploitation. Anyway- the film. I found that it gave out the wrong messages to begin with; the idea that you have to have sex to be a 'someone' in school. I thought then Britney was going to find true love... but she just sleeps with some guy she went on a roadtrip with. Fair enough they seemed to 'love' each other, but it just went back to the idea of 'you have to have sex to be cool' template and rushed their relationship alltogether. Also, it is very very sickly. If you're looking for a bright and cheery film to watch then you will like this one - it's packed with humour and has some good singing and dancing and is visually very colourful to look at.It's a wacky love story based around actors at a school producing A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare and it is consistently crazy and doesn't make the mistake of trying to be serious now and again too.

this is the first umd i bought for my psp and i couldn't be more impressed! the quality is fantastic almost dvd good. obviously there are no frills like special features but its a great way to enjoy the movie on the move! the film itself is excellent, depp is hilarious. overall a fun movie on an exciting format
