This is a superb movie, and to have it in blu-ray enhances the experience by a mile! You can 100% see the difference in quality, (same quality as i am legend and casino royale etc). I thought that this movie would have slightly less quality because it was filmed earlier than others, but no! Absolutely the same superb quality from blu-ray. Loving in! One to buy!

"The Crow" is excellent in so many ways. First, Brandon Lee is unique, torn between grief and eagerness to avenge his and Shelley's death, the directing is outstanding and far above the standard of this genre, the visuals are a blast. In fact the entire cast - even the smaller roles - were excellently cast. There is nothing bad I can say about this movie. A MUST SEE!

Science fiction inspired from Isaac Asimov. The film is logical but explores a logic that is unique. Robots are built with three ingrained laws. "Law I / A robot may not harm a human or, by inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. Law II / A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the first law. Law III / A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the first or second law." The scientist who designed these three laws and these robots also invented a central governing unit that was nothing but the watchdog of all robots as for respecting these three laws. But he had a doubt at the end of his life, more than a doubt, the conviction that the central ... Read More:

I confess to be one of the few who watched and loved this film on its cinematic release, but the one snag I found was the opening voice-over, which gave away the 'twist' and it struck me as a probable studio panic. Evidently my suspicions were correct, and the film should benefit (for new viewers) from its removal. However, director Alex Proyas has taken the liberty of making a number of changes to the film, mostly in the form restored footage to scenes. Some nice touches (finger prints, slightly more flesh on characters) add something, but some other additions merely slacken the pace, and worse, Proyas has (perhaps as a consequence of not fitting the scene, or maybe because he felt it too intrusive) lessened the role of Trevor Jones's brooding/vicious/achingly ... I bought this DVD despite the usual negative reviews on Amazon and was very glad I did. I watched it last night and was well impressed by this forerunner to the Matrix movies. This strange film is fast-paced and gripping - sci-fi movie-making at its best.
If you enjoy offbeat movies with lashings of sc-fi sauce and a dash of toungue-in-cheek detective melodrama then buy this classic movie and ignore the calls of 'boring' from the Hollywood fan club.

Not an all region disc as described. It is region B only. I can't play it and I can't return it. I contacted the vendor about it and got no reply. Don't trust the product descriptions. I learned the hard way.
There are sites where you can look up the region status for blu-ray movies.

I expected so much from this movie , Will Smith hadn't done anything good for a while and the trailer was excellent . I thought I was going to watch a moderm version of Terminator or Blade runner but this movie is neither.

Will smith plays a cop who does not like robots very much as is asigned to investigate the murder ( apparently by a robot ) or a programmer who desings robots to help humans 9 they are evrywhere ).

Alongside him Bridget Moynahan helps him in the investigation ( the chemistry between the actors is the same as the one between Gordeon Brown and George Bush ). the plot can become a bit muddle and has some very good ( but hardly credible action scenes .

The is some elegant camera work but will Smith is angry and confused the whole movie ( no dry ... Read More:

Detective Del Spooner (Will Smith) is not a fan of robots and on the surface looks like he does not believe they are as benign as advertised. The top inventor of the robots Dr. Alfred Lanning (James Cromwell) commits suicide (presumably). He leaves a message that has Spooner assigned to the investigation. Why Spooner?

Spooner gets suspicious and will not leave the suicide lie. Naturally his boss Lt. John Bergin (Chi McBride) says drop it. The head of the robotics firm says drop it. Susan Calvin (Bridget Moynahan) knows he is crazy and says drop it. Even his own mother says drop it.
V.I.K.I. (Fiona Hogan) is mistrustful of Spooner's motives.
So does Spooner finally come to his senses and drop it?
Is he paranoid or are his suspicions founded?

This is definitely ... Read More:
