I'm a great Columbo Fan and had no problem with Box Sets 1 and 2 but was surprised to find that Disc 3 of the box set shipped to me is the same as Disc 2. Although it clearly states on the disc that it is Disc 3, when played it is definetly Disc 2. I've informed the distributor of this error.

I'm surprised to be the first reviewer for this title as, although a Dynasty fan, I much prefer the later season's to the early 80's episodes which take place before the show really found its (crazy) groove! This is officially the third season of Dynasty, but to fans its actually the second - Dynasty didn't become Dynasty until Alexis arrived and that only happended at the start of the second series. Season 3 see's the cast expanded from being mostly family (ie. Carrington) based to included many interlopers including Krystle's leetchy first husband Mark; the butlers daughter Kirby; the return of Sammy-Jo (yay!) and the arrival of evil Adam (boo!). This is the first time I have seen 6MDM since the 70s. I wanted to know why the slow motion effect was so convincing at portraying a man running at 60 mph. Having seen it in the cold light of adulthood, though, I realise it just looks like a man running slowly. Your childhood illusions have already been shattered by the write-up in DVD 1, which explains that Lee Majors has had to have both knees replaced. So now you can't escape the realisation that it's a man running slowly, wincing and holding his knees every time he has to jog downhill or jump off a fence. It's a shame they couldn't have done a straight chronological run. I guess some of the episodes are too weak to sell themselves. DVD 1 has a robot (albeit one constructed by aliens) ... Read More:

The Six Million Dollar Man has not aged that well. If you take this show seriously then you must be as special as the man himself. This really is one of the funniest DVDs I have ever seen and it takes pride of place in my comedy collection next to Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and the Borat movie. The Secret Of Bigfoot really is a laugh a minute with more cliches, comic-book dialogue and wooden acting than anything else I have seen. Let's not forget that in 1974 many viewers took this show seriously, as I did, but I was still a few years away from starting "Big" school. Ive watched all of series one and was very impressed with,not only the great family values that we have come to love from the Walton family, but also, the excelent quality of the dvd,s. Its wholsome viewing for all the family to watch, which is hard to find on the t.v.these days. The Waltons are a hard-working, careing and sharing family who dont have a lot materialy, but are rich in the important things of life like, sense of humour, love, loyalty and a genuine concern for each other. If only families where like that today. I am waiting anxiously for the next series to go on sale, and hope I dont have to wait as long as I have for the first series to be produced on dvd (we have waited 20 or so years to be able to buy The Waltons series).
