DVD : The A-Team - Volume 1 - Mexican Slayride (Feature-length pilot) / Pros and Cons
This is a superb coupling: The feature-length pilot of THE A-TEAM plus their best regular episode "Pros and Cons." The best thing about these episodes is that the formula had not become set in stone yet: Later episodes would all have the same plot (the Team saves a small business from a villain who's trying to sabotage it), but here they're getting into more interesting situations and parodying a whole slew of movies -- "Pros and Cons" is a hilarious spoof of every prison-break movie ever made. Amy Allen (Melinda Culea), the female lead who was later fired for protesting the insignificance of her part, gets more screen time than she would later, B.A. (Mr. T) is more intelligent than he would later become, and Murdock (Dwight ... ..but the Fall Guy stands the test of time.
Back in the days before DVD extras opened up behind the scenes of movie making, before producers even realised people would be interested, the Fall Guy gave us a glimpse. There was also a surge in interest in stunt-men at the time and add in the fact that Colt Seavers is a bounty hunter when between stunt gigs and it was a formulation guaranteed to yield instant success.
The acting is a little wooden at times, but then this was the 80s and the show itself had that over-the-top feel where even the most serious of situations and stories were just a little comical.
The picture transfer is one of the best I've seen for a 25 year old print and the sound is impeccable. The only minor annoyance ... Read More:

DVD : A-Team - Judgement Day [1985]
The A-Team Judgement Day is a classic A-Team adventure, the guys are up to their usual antics in saving a young girl, a judge's daughter, from the mafia style bad guys. The adventure takes the team over land, air and sea; with the traditional scrapes and fights they get involved in. Hannibal and friends are using their cunning discuises as usual, and inevitably Face finds a girl and B.A. & Murdock have their comedy arguments. My favourite part is a great opening involving Hannibal escaping the top of a building and the military police by parachuting onto the van. Great old school family fun.

4.The A-Team: Season Two (REGION 1) (NTSC) starring: George Peppard, Mr. T, Dirk Benedict, Melinda Culea, Dwight Schultz
directed by: Arnold Laven, Bernard McEveety, Bruce Kessler, Christian I. Nyby II, Craig R. Baxley

DVD : The Dukes of Hazzard: The Complete Seventh Season (NTSC)
It's always sad but, all good things must come to an end. Fortunately, the dukes 7th and final season is arguably one of the best. episodes like 'happy birthday general Lee' Cale Yarborough comes to hazzard' and the one where Lukes's Marine Buddy who he put away comes back for Revenge and oh dear, is Benson after revenge, are easily the highlights and make the season.

Great extras such as John Schneider, tom wopat and Catherine Bach in an all new good ol boys video in tribute to Waylon Jennings make this a treat not to miss.

DVD : The A-Team: Season One (REGION 1) (NTSC)
A friend lent me a copy of this season of ATEAM Season One, identical to this one, except for the Region ( Strange Amazon retails Season 2 on Region 2, but only R1 for the first series). These DVDs are great: 5 discs in the set, each with up to THREE episodes of the series, including the Feature Length Pilot Episodes (1 + 2) on the first discs. Each of those episodes are roughly 45 minutes each. For £20 then, being slightly more expensive than a new release Special Edition 2 Disc DVD, and less expensive than the average Box set (e.g Friends Series 10- £32.99), it seems these discs offer quantity for a start.

Minor disadvantages: The main menu is the basic affair: Play All, Scene select (break down of episodes, then by scene), Configuration ... Read More:
