DVD : 24: Complete Season 6 [2007] [2002]
I would give this 4 1/2 stars if i could.

I agree it is not as good as the others, because (as has been mentioned) most of the characters are not as strong as previous seasons.

This storyline also contains the most implausable, ridiculous plotline of all the seasons. 24 has always had plotlines which borderline on unbelievable but we let them off because the show is that good. I think we should also let them off here too because the season is great, however there is just too much "oh come off it!!" about this one storyline that you never really forget how silly this is.

So we have weaker characters (still strong nevertheless) and an unbelievable plot aspect but apart from that we have a classic 24 with ... Read More:

24 came back and this time we have a bigger threat, a bigger bad guy and even bigger episodes.

I love this season, i always get extra excited when i put the first disc in. The writers always think of fantastic new moments to put in their series and this has loads.

As usual you need to overlook the fact that all the big events happen in the hour and that everywhere is within 10 minutes of everywhere but look past that and you will have an amazing time.

If you thought that 3 was not as good as the first two then rest assured that this definately is.

All of stargate sg1 is the best t.v ever but the earlier seasons are the best, especially the ones with the goa'uld. Apophis is the second best bad guy ever (after Ba'al, see season 5 onwards). 'Children of Gods' and 'Within the serpents grasp' (Both in season one) are two of the best episodes ever.

Stargate Rocks. Seasons one and three are better than season two but it still rocks.'The serpents lair' and 'Thors Chariot' are two of the best episodes ever and the asgard and the tok'ra are very cool.

I was rather dissapointed with this offering. The episodes lacked depth and mood, and some of my favorite episodes are on the other series, such as 'Worlds Apart' and 'Inconsistant Moon'. There's less of the other-worlds of the original series, with mainly just Mars if any off-planet at all, contrast that with the original series, being more adventurous and going anywhere they like in the universe to stage the shows. I don't think I'd bother with the other new series if they come out, but see what's on the second series of the original. As like the original, a 'Best of the Outer Limits' is what's needed in my opinion, although they won't make so much money on that, it would be value. The episodes are watchable though, but the original series left it's mark on ... Read More:
