All I can say is WOW! this is one of the best films I have ever seen, none stop comedy from start to finish, especially in the character of clueless Morgan.
The whole muppet cat is magnificent. From this film I feel i have learn't a valuable lesson: the best thing about being a pirate is you don't have to wear a suit.

Im a huge stephen king fan and couldn't wait for this to come out. Not all the stories are horror but most are creepy and tragic. 'Battle ground' was the best and 'the fith quater' was probably the worst. Some episodes are more miss than hit, but always entertaining and there is something for almost everyone. Each episode is quite different, there is some great acting, great special fx and always enjoyable. All in all, this has some really unmissable episodes and a particularly creepy one named 'road virus heads north'. A neat and entertaining series, perhaps the best £25 i ever spent!

A superb film...really, really great. A clever take on the story, well written, well acted, great sets and costumes, imaginative and... well...I could go on and on! I was a bit apprehensive at first, thinking that it would be another fairy-tale remake by numbers, but decided to give it a go because I love The Henson Company. I dont think i've ever been so gripped by a film. The acting is top notch all the way through, partly thanks to a strong star cast. Matthew Modine gives a strong performance as Jack, faultless throughout. Mia Sara plays Ondine (Jack's love interest) with emotion and depth. Other names to add to the list are Vanessa Regrave, Daryl Hannah, Jon Voight, Richard Attenborough, Bill Barretta (who has done tons of stuff with the Henson Company) ... Read More:

It was great to see all your old Muppet friends in a classic. The singing adds a new dimension to the story. Not that "Sixteen Men on a Deadman's Chest" is not good in its self. And the beautiful Benjamina Gunn added a more romantic touch. By the way if you enjoy the singing skulls you may also want to view the movie "8 Heads in a Dufflbag" with George Hamilton. The song "Cabin Fever" will have you singing along.

Talk about sophisticated dialog.
Benjamina Gunn says, "You left me standing at the altar!"
Captain Smollet replies, "I was on a ship headed for Zanzibar. I got cold feet."
Benjamina Gunn, "You're a frog! You're supposed to have cold feet!"

Tim Curry (being himself) was an excellent Long John silver. The only ... Read More:

My (almost 3 year old) son loves this dvd and understands the stories. They are slightly different takes on the classic versions. Such as the Grand Old Duke of York believes he has 10,000 men but only has 2 (and one of those is a woman in disguise). He goes off on an adventure to find his castle taken over and has to win it back.
The only reason I've marked it down is that the image quality is not as good as we've come to expect from newer dvds and I find the some of the characters a bit spook (I was never one for puppets!).
