Having owned the original Dirty Harry DVD collection which was released back in 2002,I was looking forward to this all new release and I was not dissapointed all of the original films have been given another re-master,not just the picture but also the sound has been given the dolby 5.1 remaster as well and if you have a surround sound system then eastwoods 44 magnum sounds just like the real thing!!. As well as the original extras there is a host of new extras and commentarys plus the addition of a small hardback book,production notes,Callaghans police ID badge! and also a poster and limited edition art cards complete the extras,sadly though no .44 Magnum included!!!. The last Dirty Harry film is also the worst. No no real suspense and a lame story that just sucks. The Dead Pool seems more like a parody of the former films, making this a very disappointing way to end a cult series such as this. Needless to say, Eastwood is top, but not even he can save this film. Avoid.

Not the best Dirty Harry film but it is still fairly good entertainment. The other films I would give either 4 or 5 star rating. The picture transfer is probably the best looking of the new blu-ray discs. The Dolby True HD sound does not work for some reason, so had to listen to it in Dolby Digital 5.1 which sounds fine. I guess there is a pressing fault with the disc because the Dolby True HD audio is listed on the disc menu and packaging but does not work. The other discs in the series are not affected with this problem.

The first Clint Eastwood film not to be given a cinema release in most overseas territories is a lightweight but amiable enough star vehicle that casts him as a skip tracer tracking down Bernadette Peters, who has skipped bail in her recidivist husband's pink Cadillac unaware that the boot contains $250,000 of his neo-Nazi friends' money. The presence of the star's green t-shirt and blue jeans outfit from Every Which Way But Loose clearly signposts it as one of his periodic redneck comedies, but unlike the superior Honkytonk Man and Bronco Billy, there's no depth of feeling here. this is one of clints finest movies he's ever made from the movie EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE (which is one of my personal favourites)comes the most action packed sequel which i could see over and over again the movie centres around a retired bare-knuckled fighter who is blackmailed (by having his girlfriend kidnapped) into one last fight against a well known fighter. along with his companions orville and his orangatang clyde not only does he set out to get his girlfiend back and defeat this fighter in one of the most exciting fight scenes ever made he also has to take on the "deadly but laughable" black widow biker gang once again..who he humilliated in the first movie (they are so funny in these movies) this movie will not just ...
