I suppose Im in the minority group who hated this film. Seriosly this is very dull and boring. Nothing seemed to happen in it whatsoever. As for Renee Zellwegger, you would have thought her to have been great in it after seeing her in Bridget Jones wouldnt you? Wrong. She does nothing for this film at all. She couldnt carry it through, her acting was all wierd. But I had to sit through and watch this rubbish with my family, who surprisingly all liked it and praised Renee Zellwegger for her fantastic performance. I was like what the hell are u talking about?? Anyway, I have since given this DVD away to my friend who liked it but then she loves Rene Zellewgger, so that kept her happy!

I remember watching this film when i was growing up and decided to have a flashback so i went online to buy this little beutie of a film.

I forgot how much i loved the character of Farmer hogget, amazingly played and he makes me feel all warm inside, wish he was my grandad :P

and who could forget about those cheerful little mice as a nice little extra.

I persoanlly think this is an amazing film that even adults can enjoy. Truely one of the classic family films that makes you feel all happy :D

6.Babe / Babe - Pig In The City [1995] starring: James Cromwell, Magda Szubanski, Micheline Presle, Mickey Rooney

DVD : Babe / Babe - Pig In The City [1995]
Films about animals always run the risk of being sickeningly sweet and sentimental or simply stupid. Babe, however, avoids these pitfalls with a kind of black-tinged, surrealist humour that makes us question the philosophical underpinnings of the established barriers between humans and animal.

The first Babe movie, anchored by the fine acting of James Cromwell, was quaint and enjoyable, but Pig in the City surpasses this. With Cromwell's farmer laid up in bed, it is the turn of his large Scottish wife to take on the main human role as she ends up staying with Babe at an unusual hotel in a strange city. The way in which city is presented is a touch of genius. It is exaggerated and distorted beyond all reality, giving the viewer perhaps the same impressions ... Read More:

8.Vietnam: The Ten Thousand Day War - Vol. 1 [1980] starring: John Allen, Alan Cassell, Pauline Chan, Brett Climo, Mick Conway

DVD : Vietnam: The Ten Thousand Day War - Vol. 1 [1980]
I watched this on tv when I was sixteen and missed the last episode but I bought this and watched the whole lot again. It was worth it. Set during the vietnam war, its the story of one australian family although not close it goes from when the war was happening elsewhere and not really their problem to affecting each of them. A few disturbing yet necessary scenes to show how vietnam could have affected the men fighting the war.
All in all, I enjoyed watching this again and the music was great. ...all from the sixties. Well worth a watch.
I gave it a 4 as I could have done without listening to the politics in the film.
