I can only say that this is an excellent travel series, as good as Francesco's Italy or any other similar series. Thank you Brian Sewell for showing me around Turin and some sites I didn't visit when I was in Turin. You didn't do the most predictable sight-seeing. No mention of the egyptology museum but instead San Lorenzo's church. Never heard of it before. You've helped me understand Turin's history and everything about the grand tourists from our country to theirs, 300 years ago, and it's amazing how things have developed. From people scrabbling up snowy mountains if they couldn't handle being carried on a stretcher thing by peasants, to the cable car. From playing footsie and flirting to the point of "rolling around on the floor together" ... Read More:

DVD : Beauty and the Beast: The Complete First Season (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This first season is good, which I would strongly recommend, the acting to start with is nervously done but towards the end of the first season they get their confidence and are settling nicely into their own roles, the second season I found is so much better, more confidence, not wooden and certainly a big improvement than the first.

Putting all that to one side, if you love this series as much as I do and just melt each time ron perlman opens his mouth HAAAAAAAAAAAA, then this is definetly one for the ladies.

Research has shown that women all over the world dreams of a protector like vincent, and once bitten by his role as Vincent, there is no going back, your hooked and watch it again and again. BUY IT. YOU LADIES WILL ... Read More:

I have been waiting to buy this since first seeing an episode of Homicide whilst on holiday in Canada in 1999. First they showed it on UK tv at a ludicrously early hour in the morning and wondered why no-one watched it. Now they tempt us with a dvd in a format we cannot watch. Is this some kind of conspiracy to stop the Brits seeing the finest, grittiest, hardest-edged US cop drama ever produced. It has been so long that Pembleton has turned into a crook and Kellerman has been shot dead by Vic Mackey. And while I am on the soapbox: give us The Shield series 3 in region 2 format.

DVD : Diagnosis Murder: The Third Season (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This folks, is the wonderful diagnosis murder in it's third season. There have been some changes in the interim. Amanda is pregnant and married, season three announces the arrival of young intern Dr. Jesse Travis played by the wonderful Charlie Schlatter. The story lines get a little grittier too. begiining with 'an innocent murder' in which a young girl murders her tyrant father and preoceeds to try to outwit Mark when he starts to suspect her. Episodes like 'love is murder' in which Steve Sloan almost becomes the next victim of a cop killer with a grudge and 'Misdiagnosis murder' in which and exhausted Jesse tries t6o help a heart attack victim who subsequently dies, only for the body to disappear, what is going on? Amanda's son CJ also makes his ... Read More:

Cannot fault this series, I thought it was a lot more professional than the first two, which I enjoyed very much, I felt that the actress that came into it after Linda Hamilton left actually did a very good job with her role and it's a great shame that they did not continue with the 3rd series instead of cutting it short, I feel they could have done a good job and the show did not have to end just because Linda Hamilton left, which was the only thing that disapointed me. BRING IT BACK PLEASE.

DVD : Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Season 4 (Box Set 1) [1998]
In the first 2 episodes it concentrates on Buffy settling down in college. These are two of the best because it shows Buffy in a different way. Then after that is Faith there are the episodes that dont concentrate on the story this time being the initiative. Fear itself is good and beer bad and hush. There is a couple characters gone from last time and have been replaced. All in all it is a good season. It just doesnt have the same thing anymore when in college for one thing there is no library.

DVD : The Flash: The Complete Series [1992] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
I've been waiting for a very, very long time for this superb show to appear on dvd. Never has a tv show so accurately and beautifully captured the essence atmosphere and feeling of comic books and a classic comic book hero. Like most of the truly great genre shows of the nineties this one was just to good to last and was predictably killed off after its first season. An absolute crime of a decision by its parent network!
Beautifully shot with first rate production values and true comic book style writing the flash is a wonderful treat for comic book and non comic book fans alike. However, to be honest, it will probably appeal more strongly to the former. Buy it! You'll love it!
