The script is cleverly written and there are scenes which will make you cry, make you laugh, make you shiver with excitement, and make you hate certain characters. These superbly written scenes are delivered by a perfect cast, with exceptional acting from Emilio Estevez and Lou Diamond Phillips in particular. The film focuses on the Lincoln County War, paying particular attention to the part played by the Regulators in this war. The Regulators and the few people on their side are shown in a positive light, and other parties involved are shown in a negative light. I believe this film is an accurate representation of the war and of those involved. I strongly recommend this outstanding film to everyone, whatever your interests, this film is a must ... I was in two minds on this one before i first saw it.

Having no knowledge of the film before doing so i was expecting to see our old friends Ralph Macchio and Noriyuki 'Pat' Morita together again. Instead I had to watch a poor, at best, performance from Hilary Swank. The on screen relationship between the original leads was gone and so was the magic which made the first 3 so amazing.

Avoid at all costs i say, it will only damage your love of the trilogy.

If you are amused fairly eaisily, like fishing and really want to see something funny I strongly recomend this.
Personally, i have never been fishing, nevertheless I was almost in tears it was so funny. Two neighbours who are best friends, take their usuall fishing holiday to the Everglades to enter a compitition a week before thanksgiving. From the word go, its a disaster and one leads onto another. Their friendship is almost heart warming and their ignorance to their surroundings is unbelievable. After loosing their car, crashing a boat and causing havoc while still managing to burning down a hotel they still seem to be uneffected and have high hopes of winning the compition. Then they manage to get them selves roped into a huge hunt for ... Read More:

Take 7 excellent actors, a theme already popular the world over, turn it into an exciting, original, well filmed tv series and....cancel it. Heaven knows what possessed the US networks to cancel this terrific show. From dark and tortured Micheal Biehn, to the ladies man none of us could resist - Dale Midkiff, to the always superlative Ron Perlman as the de-frocked preacher with the voice from heaven itself, to the thoughtful, humane ex-slave played with such gravitas by Rick Worthy, to the totally gorgeous Eric Close as the wild tracker with an Indian soul, to the innocent youngster learning about loyalty and brotherhood - Andy Kavovit, to - last but never least - Anthony Starke as the silver-tongued gambler with a heart, this is a brilliant tv ... The main reason I bought this film is because I am a huge George Strait fan. At first it was qute bizarre seeing our favourite shy and retiring country singer acting as a huge megastar... but after getting used to 'Dusty' we just sat back and enjoyed the film. I would reccomend it to anyone who loves a good romance movie, anyone who enjoys good country music and above all anyone who loves George Strait! It is funny, sweet, and you will be unable to stop yourself singing along. It is quite cheesy but there's nothing wrong with that so just go buy it!! You will be surprised at how George can act (although we don't reckon that there's much acting involved) but the quality of the music will not surprise anyone who, like us, are Strait fans.
