BAD - Nappas voice is cheap & chessey ( alot better the last dubbed voice)
- The music can some times be chessier than Nappa

GOOD - The price is (gob smack) cheap, If you don't like it ur not bankrupt
- Vegeta vs Goku is how it's TRULLY MEANT TO BE WITNESSED BY HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS
- The HD IS... WAW..... A 80'S CARTOON IS SOOO CRISP & CLEAR, They did A GREAT job on the picture

DVD : DragonBall Z: Season Three (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This is it: The 33 Episode long Frieza Saga, featuring Piccolo's return, Vegeta realising he is not the legendary "Super" Saiyan and Gohan coming of age, as well as tons of fighting against the seemingly invincible Frieza. The action takes place place on distant planet Namek, which is now almost devoid of life, due to events in Series Two but there are lots of scenes of King Kai's Planet with Tien, Yamcha and co (moreso than Season two happily) and Earth.

This is a very good saga, there are some great fights spread across the first two Discs as well as tons of characterisation with Vegeta. It falters slightly in Disc 3 which is 6 episodes of Frieza VS Goku, it doesn't get interesting until he begins to form the Spirit Bomb. Disc 4 sees ... Read More:

Like all other Dragonball Z season box set's this set is a MUST buy! It features THE Garlic JR, Trunks and Android sagas. That's 32 episodes on six discs! The DVD set also includes the English DUB with Japanese background music, Japanese and English Dub with US music (Soundtrack from Bruce Faulconer)
The DVD set still remains in its 16:9 format (widescreen)
A major disappointment to this box set is the lack of Re- Dub especially. At the start of the set Vegeta's voice had been Re-Dubbed (Garlic JR saga) but remained untouched from the Trunks saga and onwards) This would have to be the most noticeable voice change as his voice changes from deep to rather high pitched, so if you're a fan of Vegeta's deep voice then you are going to be very ... I can't find words to describe how mega awesome this movie is! However, I have to agree with Mr. I.J. Davis as it does take nearly half the movie before Vegeta (My favourite character as well) grows some saiyan balls and joins the fight. Still, bloody brilliant and worth all the time to watch. Other 2 aren't that great though...

Ok people let me tell you something. As a true DBZ fan I would have to say this is the poorest dubed verstion I have ever seen of Dragon Ball Z. Let's face it in this movie the music is crud, voice acting pathetic. Let's see....do the word's WASTE OF MONEY COME INTO MIND? Thank God that Amazon.co.uk is international, and if you want the true version and I mean the TRUE VERSION; look for the movie "Lord Slug" on DVD. Although it comes from the USA, it's Region encoded 1,2, and 4. That means you can play it over here in he United Kingdom (Can I get an Amen?). So don't buy this sad imitation of "Dragonball Z - Lord Slug", which they retitled "Dragon Ball Z - Super Saiya Son Goku". GO FOR THE TRUE VERSION (DRAGONBALL Z - LORD SLUG) WHICH IS DEFINATELY WORTH YOUR ... Read More:

this is okay but I honestly hate the dubbing which puts me off buying this DVD, you are a lot better off purchasing the FUNimation releases of the DVDs,

1, they're uncut, 2, Original Japanese version and 3! The dubbing in my opinion is actually decent!

More to the point, this movie is a good, its one of my favourite and I actually watched the garlic jr. saga in the tv series before the movie and I was like eh? but watching this movie made a lot of sense after all that, This movie is for the DBZ fans and is one of my favourites, Gohan urinates on krillans head and the fight is good.

If you want the best movies of DBZ you want this one, Return of Cooler, Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan and Rebirth of Fusion (note fusion is not released in ... Read More:

DVD : DragonBall Z: Vegeta Saga, Vol. 1 - Saiyan Showdown (REGION 1) (NTSC)
DragonBall Z: Vegeta Saga I - Saiyan Showdown Starter Set. What you get here is the first DVD of the first half of the unseen, uncut Vegeta Saga (formely known as the Saiyan Saga). You also get a box to hold the next DVDs in and a Goku action figure.

Prior to when FUNimation had the rights to DragonBall Z, a company called Pioneer first owned the rights. This company edited so much material from the Vegeta/Saiyan Saga that, fortunately, they gave up the rights before the Ginyu Saga. Missing dialogue, blood and even episodes were cut out. There are around 10 episodes worth that they cut from the Vegeta/Saiyan Saga.

Now, FUNimation decided to re-edit the Vegeta/Saiyan Saga and restore these episodes the way they were meant to be seen. Full uncut glory is ... Read More:
