This is it: The 33 Episode long Frieza Saga, featuring Piccolo's return, Vegeta realising he is not the legendary "Super" Saiyan and Gohan coming of age, as well as tons of fighting against the seemingly invincible Frieza. The action takes place place on distant planet Namek, which is now almost devoid of life, due to events in Series Two but there are lots of scenes of King Kai's Planet with Tien, Yamcha and co (moreso than Season two happily) and Earth. This is a very good saga, there are some great fights spread across the first two Discs as well as tons of characterisation with Vegeta. i am a very commited DB fan and when i got these DVD's i thought it was pretty damn good! the voise changes were pretty bad .. but it kinda made it better because it was so damn funny!!! the only thing i found annoying was this whole "big green" thing .. not good. have you all heard about the DB live action movie .. apparently piccolo is going to be human!!! :o! NOOOOOO!!! also whats this deal with the whole region 1 NTSC dvd's because i want to buy some however im hesitating becuase i dont think it will work in my dvd player/television! overall good though!

Bojack is a remarkable evil villian. so remarkeable that he had to be sealed up in a small star for being ruthless Putting entire civilization under his control. The universe was littered with bones who'd dared appose him. That's why the four kia's East, South, North, and West came togather and mustered up enough energy to seal him away in a star. But the star was broken by Goku's and Cell's momentum battle. When Cell blew him self up it created an energy wave which spread threw out the universe until it got to Bojack star. Creating enough energy to set him free now that Bojack is out of his prison he wants pay back. By putting the universe under complete darkness but with Gohan in the picture can Bojack get the job done.

I can't find words to describe how mega awesome this movie is! However, I have to agree with Mr. I.J. Davis as it does take nearly half the movie before Vegeta (My favourite character as well) grows some saiyan balls and joins the fight. Still, bloody brilliant and worth all the time to watch. Other 2 aren't that great though...

Ok people let me tell you something. As a true DBZ fan I would have to say this is the poorest dubed verstion I have ever seen of Dragon Ball Z. Let's face it in this movie the music is crud, voice acting pathetic. Let's see....do the word's WASTE OF MONEY COME INTO MIND? Thank God that Amazon.co.uk is international, and if you want the true version and I mean the TRUE VERSION; look for the movie "Lord Slug" on DVD. Although it comes from the USA, it's Region encoded 1,2, and 4. That means you can play it over here in he United Kingdom (Can I get an Amen?). So don't buy this sad imitation of "Dragonball Z - Lord Slug", which they retitled "Dragon Ball Z - Super Saiya Son Goku". this is okay but I honestly hate the dubbing which puts me off buying this DVD, you are a lot better off purchasing the FUNimation releases of the DVDs, 1, they're uncut, 2, Original Japanese version and 3! The dubbing in my opinion is actually decent! More to the point, this movie is a good, its one of my favourite and I actually watched the garlic jr. saga in the tv series before the movie and I was like eh? but watching this movie made a lot of sense after all that, This movie is for the DBZ fans and is one of my favourites, Gohan urinates on krillans head and the fight is good. DragonBall Z: Vegeta Saga I - Saiyan Showdown Starter Set. What you get here is the first DVD of the first half of the unseen, uncut Vegeta Saga (formely known as the Saiyan Saga). You also get a box to hold the next DVDs in and a Goku action figure. Prior to when FUNimation had the rights to DragonBall Z, a company called Pioneer first owned the rights. This company edited so much material from the Vegeta/Saiyan Saga that, fortunately, they gave up the rights before the Ginyu Saga. Missing dialogue, blood and even episodes were cut out.
