Another Great Season for The Simpsons. Have been looking forward to this coming out for some time. Can;t believe its taken so long. I would have given this a higher rating if it wasnt for the packaging. Unlike the other Limited Edition Simpsons boxset (i.e. Homer Head boxset etc) this comes slightly smaller where the discs are stuffed into cardboard sleeves which can be quite hard to get out, and also have to touch the readable side of the disc with your fingers leaving grubby marks. Also the packaging is very confusing and you are lucky to find the right disc you are looking for, first time. As long as you aren't fussy about the packaging then this is a must buy!

Utterly Disappointed with the packaging, took a while to find Disc 2 in the mess.

I have just finished watching this series and immediately got on Amazon to order the 2nd. To my dismay there is no 2nd series !!! I can't believe it . What is happening to the BBC !!!There are too few quality productions being produced and too many re runs. When we do have the opportunity to see a well produced,well acted, non violent program with out strong words , we get told the 2nd series is axed. Please tell me who decides what constitutes quality TV.??If you haven't seen this series I highly recommend it. The accent at the beginning takes a short while to get used to but once mastered is very, very enjoyable to listen to.It is a small window that opens into the past social and working lives of ordinary folk in Liverpool. Another telling of the famous story. Ray Winstone plays Sweeney Todd, a man rebuilding his life after serving a lengthly prison sentence for a crime carried out by his father (his younger brother was hanged for the same). Now the owner of a respectable barbers, his inner demons are put to test when a Newgate Prison Gaoler comes in for a shave boasting how he mistreats children in the prison, and thus becomes Sweeney Todd's first victim. This DVD is the best one (with the exception of the season boxsets) but each episode is great homer the heretic where homer stops going to church, is a classic episode. Treehouse Of horror IV is very funny aswell where homer sells his soul for a donut to the devil (ned flanders), Bart sells his soul, where .....suprise, suprise bart sells his soul to milhouse for $5 which features the single most funniest music moment in the whole simpsons where bart makes iron butterflys ina gadda da vida a church hymn. And finally in marge we trust where marge volenteers at the church and ned flanders is almost kill by a gang of savage baboons. 5 stars is very justified. I would strongly recomend you to buy it.
