I love this film, I have watched it anything up to 20 times in a row and never ever become bored. I've shown in to many friends, some like comedy, some aren't so fussed, but all of them LOVED this film.

The minute you watch it, you become some kind of Life of Brian type fan, citing it as a classic and able to quote it almost word for word. I have seen most Sandler movies, the utter uselessness of The Waterboy and Little Nicky to the brilliance of The Wedding Singer and Big Daddy, but they never quite compare in my mind, funny as the latter two are. Sandler fan or not, you HAVE to watch this.

Never again will you be able to watch any Sandler film without comparing it to this masterpiece, and without thinking those ... Read More:

Growing up is sometimes hard to do. You leave behind the carefree days when someone else was still responsible for you as you took your first steps towards independence. Our parents did the best they could in cutting the umbilical cord and sending us on our way. For most of us, this transition felt normal and was achieved without much pain. However, for a few, growing pains continued beyond what was considered normal or prudent.

Over this past weekend, I sort of had an old movie watching extravaganza and ended up watching a few films. One of these films was Big Daddy. Big Daddy was produced in 1999 and featured the Sprouse twins (Dylan and Cole) playing the same role of Julian "Frankenstein" McGrath who is a 5 year child sent from ... Read More:

...but I did! I watched it as there was not much else on but tbh I wasn't expecting much. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as brilliant as it was! Ok, so it's not a thought provoking-cutting edge-oscar nominated film, but it had me laughing out loud at parts and gasping in slight horror/surprise at some of the more unexpected ones. The idea is simple and you've heard it all before; 3 self proclaimed 'losers' join forces to get back at those who tormetned them when they were younger, and in this case that just happens to be by beating them at baseball (a sport they happen to have never played). So it sounds ridiculous and like a million other films, but the characters are superbly crafted to be funny and likeable- and the 'baddies' take on typical ... Read More:

Zohan, the Israeli top terrorist hunter intends to quit his job to become hairstylist. To achieve this he takes the opportunity and heads for the States...
There is not only a huge amount of hilarious scenes, that are so beyod everything ever seen but also a hint to the political situation shown in a way that I really apreciate. No teacher's finger pointing.

I love it and will buy it as soon as it becomes available.

Beverly Hills Ninja is a funny little film, nothing overly special, but still a fun ride that I quite enjoyed. Chris Farley and Robin Shou were the main reason as they brought a lot of humor and laughs to the film, plus Farley is just so great at the physical type humor. This film gets a bad rap, but I think it's a fine little film, and sure it may be a little silly at times but that's what I liked about it, plus The scenes where Chris is practicing by himself at the Dojo are a scream!. The scenes where Chris Rock tired to grab the chickens are also a hoot, and it's just got great slapstick as well, plus I loved the whole cast as well, although the villain was kind of weak in my opinion. There are some really good fight scenes in it as well, and Robin Shou was especially ... Read More:

Called "Saving Silverman" on Region 1, "Evil Woman" is the kind of nerdy boy/girl gigglefest the Hollywood machine churns out for the Multiplex/Farrelly Brothers marketplace. So why should you bother? Because it's so much better than that! It really is!

From start to finish - this is consistently funny with 4 great leads working with genuinely witty one-liners and ball-breakingly funny scenes. The three boys all went on to be huge of course, and Amanda Peet has some fantastic lines as the controlling monster girl from Hell (including the title of this review). Throw in Neil Diamond in a fab cameo and you have a comedic peach that slipped through the net.

When I think of the number of films that I'm told are funny as opposed to this one that actually ... Read More:
