I bought this because it would save me space. It's the size of a normal DVD box, feels great and looks slick.

The DVD's in themselve are great as everyone knows. A fourth? It might be in the pipeline but wasn't written by the guy who wrote the original books.

The story as it goes in brief if you haven't already discovered. Bourne is an agent for the US government. Sent to do a job which goes array. He losses his memory and from the beginning of the first film, Bourne tries to recall who he is and tries to work out his memories.

The plot starts in the Med. and takes us on a rollercoaster of a ride. Visiting all the big hitters in Europe. France, Germany, England to the USA for a grand finale.

I was really excited as I put this into my DVD player because winter is really drawing in now and I was looking forward to getting a nice warm polo neck with a pretty pattern to go with my new scarf and mittens. What I got instead though was a thin slice of banality.

Jumper has an excellent tag line: Unpopular youth, played by Hayden Christensen, discovers he can instantaneously teleport to anywhere he wants (the 'jumping' of the title') and decides to use this esoteric skill to rob banks. But the reality of the execution though was something of a let down.

Sure it starts off ok. We see the main character some time after his initial discovery having created a good bit of wealth and living the high life. He is then discovered like ... Read More:

Running David (Max Thieriot) loves little Millie (AnnaSophia Robb) with a love that couldn't die. He couldn't swim the raging river; but he leaned how to jump. What would you do if you found the ability to transport? Yep the first plan was to exacta all not nasty old paper in the local bank. Where do we go from here? For one thing it irks some people including fanatic "jumper hunter" Roland (Samuel L. Jackson.) We find new friends and enemies no known in the book. Then we have David's nagging question "Who/what is mommy?

Inspired by the jumper character in the youth novels of Steven Gould the movie tried to rely more on the real world locations than graphics. They did a good job on jumper graphics. The names have not been changed just the story. In an effort ... Read More:

Comedy action thriller in which Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie play married couple John and Jane Smith who are unaware that they are both assassins working for rival agencies until they are ordered by their respective bosses to kill the same target (Adam Brody of The O.C. fame). Being given the same job leads to the couple discovering the truth about each other and they are then ordered by their respective bosses to kill each other, and are given 48 hours to do so. Will they obey their orders or will they remember their marriage of half a decade or so? This movie is undoubtedly entertaining, with lots of explosions, gunfights and diverting action sequences. The banter between Pitt and Jolie as they attempt to kill each other whilst still calling each other 'dear' and 'honey' ... Read More:

My aim was to watch all 3 Bourne movies in quick succession. Which I did! This movie sets the pace as a fast, slick action thriller that immerses the viewer straight into the characters world of confusion and intrigue.

The story sees Jason Bourne (Damon) waking up with short-term memory loss with fragments of memories being triggered throughout the movie. He sets upon a mission to find out all he can, why his skills are so enhanced to kill, infiltrate and out smart his enemy - whilst trying to come to terms with his memory loss he's being targeted by his employers and law enforcement.

The plot is excellent, the acting and fight sequences are first rate, and backed by an complementative score and soundtrack that elevates the tension and excitement. ... Read More:

I can't comment on whether this film is as good as the original or even whether it is faithfully adapted from the book, but as a thriller, it certainly doesn't disappoint.

I have never been a huge fan of Matt Damon, having been admittedly put off him by an ex housemate who was obsessed. However, as Jason Bourne, a secret agent with amnesia, he puts in a superb performance.

I was on the edge of my seat throughout this movie and I particularly enjoyed the police chase where our hero successfully navigates a mini down a flights of stairs!

One of the best films I have seen in a long time and I am just plain silly to have left it so long to watch it!

Worth buying, as you will probably want to watch it more then once.

'Mr and Mrs Smith' is a light hearted action/comedy. OK the plot is pretty bad, it has a rubbish ending and it may be a touch too long (all reasons for my 3 stars), but it wasn't trying to win any Oscars and is a fun, fairly innocuous, way to spend an afternoon. There are some funny moments, loads of action scenes and plenty of eye candy for the boys and girls. Some people seem to rate this film based against all others ever made, in that contest it will never win. But as an example of light entertainment it doesn't do too badly. Not brilliant, but not terrible either. Worth spending an afternoon watching when you don't want to think too hard.

I first watched this film at University, after a friend bought it and stuck it on the communal DVD player; then watched it again, and again, and now watch my own copy of it from time to time eight years on. The soundtrack is great, the direction is great, and everything just seems to work really well. The characters are all also genuinley likable, with Vince Vaughn's performance being particularly memorable. Its also hilarious at times, right up until the end.

I enjoyed this film and bought this DVD to watch the alternate version. A lot of reviews for the theatrical cut complain about lack of chemistry, scripting and Vince Vaughan. This 'Definitive Edition', as Doug Liman intended, improves on all three. It removes the handholding opening exposition, pacing is improved to further explain the relationship between Mr and Mrs Smith and the added and extended scenes remove some of the silliness. I liked the silliness because ultimately I want to be entertained. This is an fun film with an intelligent script. Don't disregard it because your friends didn't like it.

I would have liked to have both versions of the film in the edition, that is a disappointment.
