I was meant to title this CD Box-Set `If you want to know how to turn a brilliant series into a piece of rubbish, ask David Lynch', meaning he starts off on a high and ends rather low. Mind you, the first part of the series is indeed brilliant. CD One contains the Pilot with both the Original Version and the Alternate International Version. Discs two and three contain the seven episodes of the Series One. And these are a solid five stars. I just love the many twists and turns. In the original Series One release we were stuck in the middle of nowhere when Agent Cooper is shot at the end of Episode 7. Its not a surprise everyone was eagerly awaiting the second Series. It goes without saying that these 2 movies are great family films which I would recommend wholeheartedly. However I have deducted 2 stars for this DVD listing because the item I have just received from a USA-based Marketplace seller (Caiman) was the REGION 1, NTSC edition, not All Regions/PAL as advertised by Amazon. This did not cause me a problem, because luckily my DVD player is region-free, but if you have a normal UK region 2 player, I would advise you to be very cautious in purchasing this edition from any US-based seller. One more thing you should be aware of - the first movie has a "full-screen" aspect ratio; only the second movie is in widescreen.
