This is a good Seagal thriller and pushes the right buttons. It isn't one of his best but it does deliver the goods.

Good movie, great acting! The movie starts so normal for an action flick but then gets more complicated as time goes on. It was the first one in 6 years that my partner guessed the ending wrong on!

Okay, so the whales are mostly CGI and models. Who cares? When I first saw it I thought they were real - and I'm a trainee whale biologist! On a story note the film is next to faultless. Yes the film runs on the idea of child and animal relationship saving the day, which can/has become a little lame in some films. In this film, though, the plot has been written to ensure this doesn't happen. As a general overwiew, Willy and his Pod (having been reunited in the original) meet up with Jesse and Ranulph, but become threatened by an oil-slick. The film could be deemed as extraordinary, but believable nontheless, as the deep relation between Willy and Jesse shows through (perhaps even more than in the first). Such a relationship with an eight tonne top level ... Read More:

I stumbled upon this film by accident. As a martial arts enthusiast and a movie addict, I was curious about how much would be left of Brandon Lee without the story, setting and atmosphere "The Crow" provided. At first glance, this is your avarage 13-in-a-dozen martial arts film, following the likes of Van Damme. (and we all know that apart from a few good, he also made some awfully bad trash)

The story is thin (read the plot for yourself) and cliché, which is usually enough to write it off, if it weren't for Brandon, who holds up surprisingly well (this could very well have ended up in something that would make us all cringe.) Brandon, who plays Jake Lo (mostly referred to as "kid" by the other characters in the film) has got trip hammers for fists, ... Read More:

DVD : Halloween IV: The Return of Michael Myers [1989]
In Haloween IV: The Return of Michael Myers, (as suggested by the title) Michael Myers returns (Halloween III having been a completely separate movie and not featureing Michael Myers). It has been 10 years since the events of Halloween and Halloween II and Michael escapes once again, this time while bein transported between institutions in an abulence, this time determined upon killing his niece, Jamie.

Lorrie (Jamie Lee Curtis) in not in this movie. We are instead introduced to her daughter, Jamie, neice of Michael Myers, a girl who is about 7 years old and has horrible nightmares about her Uncle and is teased by the kids at school because her Uncle is "the boogeyman".

Michael Myers makes his way to Jamie in Haddonfield, leaving behind him ... Read More:

These were both brilliant films. OK, the graphics aren't that realistic, but they aren't so bad you can't watch them.
Anaconda-a filming crew in the amazon pick up a man obsessed with capturing a lethal 40 foot anaconda. They, obviously, run into the anaconda on several occasions, and the film is generally tense.
Anacondas-Another anaconda film, but with plenty to kill off along the way, so you get more death in the film. More action horror than its less action predescessor, but just as good in other ways. In both films, there is a psychotic leader, with a nothing-can -stop-me-getting-my-goal attitude. The scenes with the snakes are quite tense(, more so for me, as I'm terrified of snakes), and the acting is pretty good. Worth the buy.
