Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps is my faveorite TV show. It is suitable for teens to twentys. Other perople have been saying young people won't get it or won't find it funny. I am 14 and think it is the best show around. I dunno if they mean younger but, oh well. I think it is deffinatley worth a buy!:D

I got this dvd a while ago and thought it was really good but i kept wondering what was going to happen next, i heard there wasnt going to be anymore eposodes, which sort of spoiled the dvd as no one knew what happened next. Thats why i was thrilled when i heard there was a new series, since its been on tv i've been watching it non-stop! I'd advice you to get this dvd then watch the new series its on every sunday! :)

No matter how many times it is repeated on TV or if I'm bored and pop the DVD in, I can happily watch this over and over again. Gorman isn't the funniest stand up (Check out youtube) but he is a masterful story teller. Most of the extras are pretty rubbish fillers, but a couple are good. You can expand the story when prompted and he explains it in more depth. Also a Q and A session with the audiance offers some interesting insite into how he works. If you like this, I recommend the Dave Gorman Collection, which you can only buy through his website. And if you can find ways to get it, his Important Astrology Experiment is excellent.

As a huge fan of two pints, i disagree with many of these reviews, i watch the 'endless' repeats of the program on BBC3 and never fail to laugh at it, even though i know every word to the show i still watch it. the 5 main actors and actresses work so well together and the show brings us laughs, tears, hapiness, sadness. I would recommend this program to anyone over the age on 15 as it does have many sexual referances in it.

I watched this on UKGOLD a couple of years ago and was suprised to see Robert Webb (of Mitchell and Webb and Peep Show fame) in it and decided I wanted to buy the DVD's. I wasn't disappointed. The show is deliciously dark and dead pan. All the chracters seem very real and although none of them have anything in common, spend most of there day together, just to smoke. It's a shame, thanks to the smoking ban, a third series will probably never happen. The extras are a bit "all filler, no killer" but it does contain a Christmas special and some behind the scenes stuff which is interesting.

This show is one of the most funny i have seen in a while. A series of various charaters are portrayed by little miss jocelyn all of which are very humorous. Can't wait to get the 2nd series.

Sheridan Smith's character, Michelle, is almost identical to her previous role, Janet in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, so I found this series a little odd to watch. In fact, the whole sit-com is in the Two Pints style, but sadly, I didn't find it as funny as Two Pints. There's an interesting variety of other characters though, and they are quite different from the Two Pints ones, so perhaps subsequent series will be better as the characters develop. By the way, Olivia Blair's review is for the American programme "Grown Ups" (1997), and not the British one, "Grownups" (2006). Her review also appears to have been copied directly from Wikipedia.

I first came across "Two Pints" while channel hopping, and had to buy the dvd's. The humour suits a massive range of ages. I got addicted as did my husband, my 3 children (aged from 20 - 28), and my 78 year old mother. Like all good sit-coms it's the kind of comedy you can watch over and over and still laugh as much. British comedy at it's best.

This is a decently priced boxset for four series' of the BBC comedy, Two pints of Larger and a Packet of Crisps... Admittingly, it's crude, lewd and peppered with swearing and lots of sexual references, so if you're easily offended than this is definitely not the comedy for you. The series' follow the lives of five twentysomethings living their daily lives in Runcorn and contemplating the important things in life. It's a modern family of a kind, where family are your friends, and not necessarily your relatives that you go to for tea, ask advice on and spend cosy nights in or out with. Here's a quick guide... The Vicar of Dibley is funny. Very funny. My wife is a vicar, and she thinks that it is funny too. My Mum thinks that it is funny, even my brother would describe the Vicar of Dibley as funny. And this little collection of four seasonal episodes is the cream of the crop. All the seasons before this worked towards the storylines followed by these specials. They were the final pay off. In short, if you have any Vicar of Dibley, if you are a fan in any way shape or form, these are the ones for you to buy and own and watch again and again. They are funny.
