Hi everyone! I just wanted to express my thoughts on the TV show "Due South" and this version of it on dvd. SIDE NOTE: You all will probably need the Region 2 version, and that is coming out January 2006 as I saw on your site. So just in case you somehow are interested in Region 1, here's my input! First of all, the packaging is very nice. The discs stay inside the package securely, and there's no risk of scratching. That is, if you buy it from a store. (Try Best Buy, Borders and Books, etc). Shipping through mail: I don't know. The sets have just the episodes. I heard the International version is a lot more expensive, and the only extra featres you get are subtitles and a commentary on one episode or something. So ... Read More:

Some of the best episodes can be found here for they are great viewing. Great all round entertainment for Xena fans as the duo embark on their final adventures which ends in a superb two parter set in Japan. Only criticism of the set however, is that extras are non existent which is a shame. But, am sure Xena fans will lap it up anyway. Great picture and sound, and even better price too. With prices as low as this, they are giving DVDs away nowadays.

I've been waiting along time for this series to come out on DVD. It was a fasinating and brilliant TV show - unfortunately no reruns in the UK - so I've only seen it the once and have been waiting for it to come back ever since.

This is a reasonably exciting, well paced film that holds the viewer's attention and is well worth watching. Adrian Paul (Steven Price) Amanda Tapping (Eva Soderstrom) and Malcolm McDowell (Thomas Abernathy) are all excellent actors (though Malcolm McDowell's performance does have resonances of his performance as Dr Soran in Star Trek Generations, he really does look like the archetypal mad scientist). The script is articulate and convincing and the science that is discussed is such that the viewer can understand what is going on without feeling that he/she has been talked down to and patronised. The chemistry between Adrian Paul and Amanda Tapping is clear and this means that it is possible to believe totally in the relationship they portray. ... Read More:

Thankfully lacking the technical problems that make the Season 1 boxset so painful to watch, you can enjoy Season 2 in all its glory. Having switched directions a few times early in Season 1 (from semi-serious in the pilot, to more straight adventure early in season 1, and later more focus on character), by the opening of Season 2 the style is more settled. The interplay between Fraser and Vecchio is now the staple of most stories, but the series had also embraced a surreal quality as well, with Fraser's dead father making regular appearances! We are also treated to more frequent appearances from the wonderful Ramona Milano, which is a bonus. i think xena is the best series in the world and series 3 is a excellent series but i think they went a bit over the top with 'the bitter suite', but the rest of the boxset is brill.I cant wait for boxset 4 to come out.if you like xena, you will love series 3.
