after the tension created in series 1 and 2, i was hoping a return to the prison escape format would keep it going but this is a step too far. some of the acting by the newer characters is sub-schoolplay level, and has made me seriously consider whether to bother with series 4

I was a latecomer to 'House' but better late than never.

Hugh Laurie plays the miserable yet brilliant Dr. House with some style. You almost forget he is a Brit.

I have watched many hospital dramas - ER, St Elsewhere, Casualty, etc, as there is something uniquely engaging about the medical environment. Those series have been mainly dramas while House is something else. It's a part drama, part sit-com and part geeky medical show.

The basic premise involves patients being admitted to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital with very mixed symptoms that complicate the medical diagnoses. House uses his talented young medical team to treat the symptoms but the patients usually take a turn for the worse upon ... Read More:

An absolutely brilliant series, much better than the original TV series and dare i say it the original film! Having read all the books and recently watched the previous film and series i believe this to be the best so far. With great performances, especially the prescient twins Leto and Ghanima played by James McAvoy and Jessica Brooks, although i must say i enjoyed the whole cast and thought they all did a fantastic job. This coupled with the amazing effects and music, which although not the best the world hs ever seen does the job very nicely, especially when you think about the budget the series had in the first place.

As with all adaptations of books to screen not everything can be transfered although i must admit i was pleasantly surprised ... Read More:

The story carries on with Michael Scofield and his fellow escapees on the run from the prison wardens, the police, the people who set Lincoln Burrows, and each other.

Trust is a commodity in short supply.

There is stacks of money, but where?

The story just gets better, with the plots not constricted to Fox River prison, you will not be able to predict what is going to happen next. Watch this now as the premiere series over taking 24, dammit, brilliant!

After i warched the first episode i thought it was good, so i went on to watch the hole of the first disk to make sure that it wasent just a one episode wonder. It just kept getting better and better as i watched on. The acting is good the special effects are brilliant and it has a good soundtrack to it. Over there will keep you on the edge of your seats throughout the whole seiries. Unlike other war film it shows pain and happiness from both the americans and iraqis.

I like this tv series for the following reasons:it's about unusual jobs (in a casino complex) in an unusual place (las vegas),the storylines, acting and dialogue are humorous, there is a good rapport between the two main characters played by James Caan and Josh Duhamel (who run security for the casino and both have former connections with the military),the women are beautiful (I'm sure the men are too if you're into them),and you never know what will happen next.
This programme is great fun to watch and I think this is because it doesn't take itself too seriously. The episode with Jean Claude van Damme is one of the funniest I have seen on tv given his track record in hollywood movies of defying death on hundreds of occasions. The guy goes to las vegas, gambles once ... Series 2 of Las Vegas has less credible storylines but is packed with humour, snappy dialogue, surprises, celebrity guests, and as in series 1,what you see is a visual feast from one episode to the next.Beautiful people, beautiful locations and non-stop action make this a programme that will help you forget it's winter here in the northern hemisphere.

I liked this second mini series so much more than the first. I found it quite faithful to the books and enjoyable to watch. It was still marred by PH Moriarty as Gurney Halleck. Nothing against the bloke he was much better in Lock Stock, but I don't think his cockney version of Halleck was suited to the role and found myself cringing every time he opened his mouth.

As soon as I saw lost advertised I new I wanted to watch it, and so far I have not been disapointed. Lost is a great show filled with drama, comedy and a lot of suspense. The way that each episode has been put together is excellent. In the first series you learned things about each of the characters but not everything as that would ruin the point of the show.
Many people criticise the show for dragging out to long but that in my opinion is what makes the show so great, it keeps you guessing week after week. what other show can you think of that has kept us hanging on this long, and been just as popular as when it first started? The answer is none.
I agree that sometimes certain events may be dragged out but as for the show itself I think that is the secret behind ... Read More:
