The first two Alien films are amazingly good, & the rest are well worth watching but less excellent. This is a great collection & good value for money.

I cannot describe it at all. Touching, moving, passionate. None of these words do Titanic justice. A TRUE tear-jerker. The way the lead roles act is overpowering. And the sheer terror of the sinking really touches your heart. If you have not already, buy this film. Please! I'll buy it for you if I have to!!

One of the best movies ever made, this has everything. The action is crisp, the situation powerful and the whole film delivers right across the board. If you haven't seen this, buy it immediately. You fool.

I bought this, because i like the film and it was the extended edition, which i find far more satisfying than the theatrical edition.If it had been the theatrical edition i wouldn't have touched it. The main principle of blu ray is better picture, better sound, which is achieved here. If you only buy films for extras Stick with the DVD, but if like me you just love the film ,then this is top notch. for people to say the picture is no better than an upscaled DVD is a joke, I watched the DVD version and the picture is shocking, one of the worst DVD transfers I think I've seen, its only because I bought a bigger TV that i've come to notice these things otherwise I probably would've agreed it ... True lies is an action/comedy film that starts off like james bond but with greater emphasis on violence,it then treads into comedy before finishing off with hollywood blockbuster action at its very best,the film with that in mind can be divided into three,arnie excels in all areas. True lies is a james cameron film,the budget is vast,the action exaggerated and it is all so frantic. Jamie lee curtis puts in a good showing as arnies wife who is bored with the hum-drum of her life,arnie is a spy who never told her what he does and there is a comical showing from bill paxton who cameron clearly enjoys working with. I havent gone into mass detail here but needless to say this is one classy film.

This and Lord of the Rings are the only two movies I have seen in cinema where the audience did a random applause as the closing credits rolled and justifiably so. From the opening haunting music you know you are in for a great film experiance. It tugs at the heart and makes you feel for the sad loss of so many lives. This dvd is spread over 4 discs. The first 2 with the feature films with commentaries. The last 2 with great extras such as documentaries, parodies and deleted scenes. I think though like Lord of the Rings the film could have been extended with many deleted scenes included again.

This is truly a good film and one of the few films that has a descent sequel. James Cameron is without doubt a master of this franchise but is a ashame that he did not direct terminator 3. The special effects in this film broke new boundries when released with the appearance of the T-1000 walking through a gate and fire. Included are deleted scenes which I believe could have been added to make this film even better. It has an alternate ending which would have stopped the franchise their and then so I am glad that they did not use it. I heavily recommend that this film be in any collection.

This is one of the best sci fi films I've ever seen. It's got tension, gore, excellent setpieces and some brilliant lines. The direction is incredibly good and the DVD is well worth getting. It's a superb film that can be watched over and over again. Amazingly good.

Just want to say that this film stands the test of time for me. It is heartwarming, the special effects really work even today and its watchable over and over again....Just one thing, do watch the directors cut, or special edition, as I think that the cuts that were made to the original movie do remove quite a lot of the message of the film and without that, you miss the point somewhat.
