ThirdSpace is average, Call to arms borders on the pathetic and the only movie that is really worth watching out of the set is River of Souls. ThirdSpace: Cool idea which simply did not fit the format. It would have taken at least 4-5 episodes in order to develop it fully to the same depth as the Babylon main line. It was cramped into a small feature movie instead. It is clearly missing the depth of the Babylon 5 mainline. Some tolerable special effects, lots of holes in the plot and a really cheesy and stitch-ed up ending. Call to Arms: Worse than an average Babylon 5 episode. Unfortunately, this is no longer the Ultimate Video Collection. I guess we'll have to wait until "Weird Al" retires or dies for that. However, if you get this and his latest album Straight Outta Lynwood, you'll have a fantastic collection of songs and videos that will keep you entertained and amused for a very long time. Most of the songs on here are parodies. They cover lots of different styles of music - folky, pop, rap, soul, rock and grunge. And Weird Al nails every single one. A superb musician, singer and arranger. This man should be huge here in the UK but for some reason, he's not. I don't know why. Buy this. It's brilliant. And so cheap!!

Some of the best episodes can be found here for they are great viewing. Great all round entertainment for Xena fans as the duo embark on their final adventures which ends in a superb two parter set in Japan. Only criticism of the set however, is that extras are non existent which is a shame. But, am sure Xena fans will lap it up anyway. Great picture and sound, and even better price too. With prices as low as this, they are giving DVDs away nowadays.

i think xena is the best series in the world and series 3 is a excellent series but i think they went a bit over the top with 'the bitter suite', but the rest of the boxset is brill.I cant wait for boxset 4 to come out.if you like xena, you will love series 3.

Having watched the previous two series, where we are witness to the development of the relationship between Gabby and Xena, this series takes their relationship a little further into reality. As the watchers of this realistic and heart rending series, we see how the lies and secrets our hero's tell reveal the cracks in what is thought to be the perfect friendship. This second boxset for series 3 contains some of my favourite episodes such as The Bitter Suite, King Con and Fins, Femmes & Gems. They are beautifully crisp copies, as well as being the uncut versions of the episodes. This boxset is a vital addition to any collector of the Xena Series, especially as it resolves all of the bad feelings raised in the first part of series 3 between Xena and Gabrielle. Its a pity they didn't produce it in the same colour box as Series 3 volume 1, but at the end of the day who cares!

Wow. Oh, you want more? OK. Double wow. Season 4 rocks! Let me illustrate.... The last 11 episodes gets underway with 'If the Shoe Fits;' an amusing interlude that is worth watching just for the performance of Renee O'Connor. Her comic timing is used to perfection, both verbally (check out the psycho-babble) and physically (the sight of her as the village idiot. Priceless...) Otherwise, the story isn't up to much, but who cares? Sit back and enjoy! I really got into Babylon 5 when it moved to TNT. Yes, I was slightly behind. Therefore, I saw many of these movies early in the process of getting to know the show and never sat down to watch them again until recently. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This is a five disc set containing all five movies shown on TNT. The only Bab 5 movie missing is "Legend of the Rangers." I'm guessing that legal issues are holding it up since it's still not available. With the exception of "The Gathering," each movie gets the wide screen treatment. I think the picture is better then it was for the series releases. The sound is mixed in 5.1 surround and sounds wonderful. Each movie also gets a four-minute intro and a commentary. This is my favourite season, with episodes like "Coming Home" - in which Ares calls upon Xena to help him restore his godhood, unaware that the Furies are conspiring against him. The second episode "The Haunting of Amphipolis" Xena's mother has been killed and when Xena, Gabrielle and Eve return home, the home is haunted by Cyrenes spirit, Xena battles Mephistopheles - but if Xena kills Mephistopheles she is forced to take over the throne of Evil. The box itself is slim and folds out with the 3 Xena disks inside. I was pleasantly surprised with the presentation because it really was slightly more than I expected for a simple small boxset. There's a nice inlay picture of Xena and Gabrielle which poses a sort of irony when considering the dark areas their relationship will enter during this half of the season. Despite this, no effort has been made to include any special features. None. Not so much as a few subtitles. So in that sense, the boxset is severely limited. There aren't any scene selections for individual episodes either. The menus however, aren't bad. The theme tune is played as well as fire burning in the background whilst you navigate the small menu.
