This is probably the funniest film I have ever seen. There are so many twists to the plot, so many brilliant performances, it would be impossible to list them. All I can say is - watch this film! It is totally brilliant in every way.

Brilliant films, easily two of my favourites. But this DVD version is disappointment, How Could They Have Cut the Limo scenes... I thought one of the benefits of DVD was to put more in not take away,

I have loved this film since I was a little girl in the 80's, even had to buy it again on DVD. It has a simple plot but is a classic in it's own right. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon on the sofa. I wish they made more films like this these days.

'Top Secret' is one of the comedies from Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker. During the years they have brought the wonderful 'Airplane!', the very funny 'Naked Gun'-series, two 'Hot Shots!'-movies, 'Jane Austen's Mafia!' and 'Rat Race'. This movie belongs in that list of very funny movies. It is not as good as 'Airplane!' or the first 'Naked Gun' but it comes close. Val Kilmer is Nick Rivers, an American rock n' roll singer, who comes to East-Germany. To tell you the truth I can't remember really why he did that, but of course that doesn't matter very much. In East-Germany he meets Hillary Flammond (Lucy Gutteridge). Her father is imprisoned by the East-German regime and Nick wants to help Hillary to find him back. The movie is not ... Read More:

Airplane is the funniest film I have ever seen. The plot is simple, an ex fighter pilot Ted, goes to the airport to persuade his ex girlfriend Elaine to get back with him. When she says no, Ted buys a ticket (smoking or non smoking!) and boards the plane, the flight crew then succumb to food poisoning and then its up to Ted with Elaine's help, to land the plane! The jokes come thick and fast and are genuinly funny. The only complaint is that this DVD has no extras but the film is side-splittingly funny, buy it now!

This wonderful film shows the truly fanastic results that the ketogenic diet can give to a child with drug-resistant epilepsy.

Yes I accept that a one star review of this bloody brilliant spoof film is a little harsh but he has a point. I bought this film for all the funny stuff I loved when I watched it many times on the TV. Aswell as the arena fight, the seduction scene was the one I was most fond of. So imagine my unfortunate surprise when this version just dances right past it. It's a real shame and the only reason I can guess they took it out was that it was a 'sex scene' and so raised the classification rating up from a PG. It's lucky i've got the proper version on VHS cause otherwise the lack of the taxi scene with a cheeky bit of the Pointer Sisters' "I'm so excited" would have been even more of a bummer. Leslie Nielsen has been around for a long time and in many leads before striking out on a road to comedy. This is but one story.
