No matter what anyone says, and no matter what happens, no other musical can beat the one and only "Rocky Horror Picture Show"! Seriously! I know I may be exaggerating, but tied with the Baz Luhrman classic Moulin Rouge!, this is THE greatest musical of all time! What I like most about "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is the fact that it has its own inventive style. I mean, look at musicals like Mary Poppins and Sound of Music (both good films by the way). While they have people singing nice lovely songs aimed at families, RHPS tells about a "Sweet Transvestite" and his servants whom dance to "The Time Warp". How many musicals use THAT idea? this film has everything the modern film usually lacks,these include-script,plot,acting,lovable characters,relavent music,iconic scenes,and become a cult classic. there are tonnes of scenes that everyone will love its a hilarious movie with some very outragious scenes(very raunchy and(homo)erotic)which i love!!! its a classic film that everyone needs to see.

This is an amazing boxset and a must-have for any Rocky Horror fan! It contains both the two disc DVD of the film as well as the sequel Shock Treatment. There are also lots of different and interesting collectables which complete the set. Fabulous!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a classic, briliantly done & very entertaining. I was therefore so disappointed with Shock Treatment...felt like turning it off after 20 minutes & wished I had by the end of the film!

Can't quite believe the other reviewer was watching the same film. The songs in this one are far superior to the ones in Rocky, I would go so far as to say that this is the best of the 2. Plot is fairly straight-forward, and Brad and Janet are played by 2 far superior actor/singers. Not actually seen the DVD version but have a VHS of this. Don't quite understand why this flopped, but it is well worth a watch, and should be more readily available on it's own.

I'll leave it to Tim from the superb TV comedy 'Spaced' to explain, quite rationally, why this film is awful: "It's boil-in-the-bag perversion for sexually repressed accountants and first-year drama students with too many posters of Betty Blue, The Blues Brothers, Big Blue and Blue Velvet on their blue bloody walls!"
