These are brilliant suspense / shoot 'em up films. Classic stuff, and while the first is the best by a wide margin, they're all worth owning. Great fun.

Lost count how many times I've watched this over the years but it remains a really entertaining film combining great cinematic scenery, characterisation and plot. It is a fine remake of a classic and Brosnan's performance is especially good. He plays Thomas Crown brilliantly and certainly keeps the determined Rene Russo on her toes! What makes the film for me is the art and the detectives, who always seem to be second guessing Crown's next move. Even more brilliant is the unforgettable museum scene near the end. A fine film that can be revisited many times.

With an explosive beginning, literally, Die Hard with a vengeance starts as it means to go on with top notch action, adrenaline and an amazing appetite for adventure. Willis (Moonlighting) returns as the iconic McClane and is juxtaposed with Samuel L Jackson (Pulp Fiction) as the nervous but intelligent electrician Zeus and as in Pulp Fiction, the two perform their hearts out in another excellent Die Hard film. Dutch(Arnold Schwarzenegger) is recruited by the CIA to rescue hostages held by guerrilla fighters in a Central American country. But Dutch and his team soon become the hunted and a deadly cat and mouse game begins. Can Dutch get his team of men out before they all die. The predator is on safari so let the hunt begin. Good film but i was a bit disapointed by the blu-ray disk. Not as clear as i thought it was going to be. If you want some good blu-ray film get 300, casino royal, the day after tomorrow or 30 days of night. Jean claude van damme was originally the predator until kevin peter hall took over.

i strongly recommend this box-set for any predator fan very interesting behind the scene footage and digitally enhanced

This has been consistantly my favourite film for a long time. I don't know why? I have watched it six or seven times, always enjoying it, the story is pacey, there's humour, action, and loads more. Banderas shouldn't fit but does and gives, for me, his best performance in a film. Buy with confidence, fills loads of genres, action, adventure, fantasy, heroic fantasy, etc etc. Enjoy.

Die Hard is probably the greatest action film ever made and so much was riding on this transfer. Well, it's pretty good actually! I've seen reviews that rate it as 3/5 from critics (picture quality) but it's actually a bit better then that. The 3D feeling is in effect and the colours are nice too. The sound is DTS 5.1 and it sounds great through a sorround system. The picture could be better in close ups with hair and beards ect... the faces (pores)aren't as sharp as they should be. This isn't a demo disc but it's not as bad as reported. It is worth the upgrade from the DVD with a 3.5/5 transfer. Not bad for a film that's twenty years old.
