i seen this movie on sky and ernest is a very funny dude i like the way he pretends to be differant people this movie is side busting your eyes are tripping you with tears with laughing so hard this is a non stop laugh a min movie you will not be dispointed its full of fun kids will enjoy this movie

This is definately one of Ernest's best films and like all the others, it's really funny, in that same daft, but at the same time funny, sort of way. This time, Ernest is promoted to 'Camp Counsellor' at Camp Kikakee and put in charge of a group of delinquents from a detention centre. All goes well until mining company try to take the land from under their feet. Its down to Ernest and the gang to save Camp Kikakee. Definately a must-see for any Ernest fans out there and still a must-see for anyone thats not. Buy it and i promise that you will not regret it.

Jim Varney made a series of films based on his milk commercial character "Ernest". This series of "Ernest" movies is mostly slapstick humor with some Varney faces and resembles a live cartoon. This is considered one of the best of the series. In this movie Jim Varney plays a double role as a hardened convict and an aspiring bank janitor. Due to extenuating circumstances they trade places. And his faithful dog (Rimshot) is canned. Now before you recoil I mean the canine is restrained from exposing the imposter by being restrained in a trash can. Will Ernest be able to save the dog or is it all over?

This is an Ernest tour-de-force. I think the highlight has to be the scene where he eats the watermellon, although the obsequious servant "hey you" is a close runner up with all the "most exalted one, whose flatulence is the perfume of the gods" chat. Ernest just doesn't get any better than this. Know what I mean, Vern?
