There's never been a better time to get re-aquainted with Michael's music. This is great! 10 videos that are timeless! The sound and picture quality (except the picture on the way you make me feel) is incredible. The sound is 5.1 dolby sorround, it's crystal clear and you can hear a pin drop. Whether you watch it on a sorround sound system or a normal TV it's superb quality.

THE VIDEOS

1 Billie Jean
2 The way you make me feel Uncut rare version. The picture quality is grainy - like an old VHS. Not sure why this is as the rest of the videos are great quality.
3 Black or white - uncut version including panther scene. This includes the racist writing on cars and buildings that Michael smashes up. In ... Read More:

This revenge film has a lot of action, attitude and good old fashioned destruction. Convincing performances and a real edge to some of the dialogue lift it up. This movie delivers well.

Youngster Tre Styles is sent by his mother to live with his disciplinarian father, Furious Styles (Laurence Fishburn) in 1980's South Central Los Angeles to learn how to be a man. Tre avoids the trappings of petty crime and drugs and grows up to be an intelligent and conscientious teenager played by Cuba Gooding Jr. Tre's best friend Ricky (Morris Chestnut) is shaping up to be a fine football player with a college scholarship in the pipeline whereas his older brother Doughboy (Ice Cube) has been in and out of institutions, and now spends his days drinking on the porch with friends with a gun tucked in his waistband.

John Singleton was only 23 when he penned and directed Boyz 'N' The Hood. Having grown up in South Central himself ... Read More:

If you liek the fast and the furious youll proabably get some form of a kick out of the sequel, VIn diesel isnt in it though so if your expecting more toretto action youll be sadly dissapointed.

The second installment of the fast and the furious trilogy is the weakest in my opinion, the story is pretty weak and it moves away from the street racing to more under cover work of paul walkers character. It is however still good fun to watch the cars are just as fast and although it fall short in the story department who cares! you dont watch this sort of film to be intellectually challenged!

I am neither male nor black nor an American, yet from the first time I saw this movie I found myself drawing uncomfortable parallels between myself and Jody, your main character. I probably shouldn't have been so surprised; John Singleton has always had a talent for creating characters that you can relate to regardless of your place in life.

From what I've heard, the late Tupac Shakur had been Singleton's first choice for the movie, and after Shakur's death he searched for a long time until he found Tyrese Gibson - understandable, because with Shakur's legendary talents, any role of his would be a hard one to fill. Gibson, however, does not disappoint. Despite his pretty-boy looks and image - or perhaps, to some extent, because of them - he makes a convincing, and at times ... Read More:

Thirty years is a long time to wait to make a sequel, especially when no one is clamoring for one. Director/Writer/Producer John Singleton decided it was about time. The result is a solid, but undistinguished crime drama. The elements of this story have been told so many times that they are becoming hackneyed. A tough, no-nonsense cop fights evil and corruption to bring justice to the streets while often disregarding the law. A spoiled rich kid is trying to get away with murder by hiring a drug dealer to snuff an eyewitness with the help of a couple of dirty cops. This is not vanguard material.

Singleton's direction is good in the action sequences (of which there are plenty) and adequate in the dramatic scenes. In this film, he doesn't bring much innovation to the screen, ... Read More:

The films are fast and entertaining but for all three for the price it is at, then this is a very good deal!

Not bad at all!

This is the first film I've seen of Janet Jackson when she was younger and not only does she look gorgeous her acting is amazing. It reminds you of just how talented she is. The storyline and concept is realy good, Tupac is equally good as Jackson. Can't believe I hadn't discovered it before, but very glad I did.

DVD : Higher Learning [1995]
Oh dear - John Singleton really has gone out of his way to persuade us all that he's really a glorified Hack since the success of "Boyz n' The Hood". This, his second feature is a case in point - You'd expect an African-American director to imbibe an analysis of racial tensions in US Universities with thought and a fresh outlook... Think again, alas. You'd get a more original opinion if you'd asked Gene Wilder to stop making "Silver Streak" over-and-over again. Singleton has ironically made a more racist retort than somebody like Leni Riefenstahl ever could.

So, the black students are hard-drinking stereotypes who do little (if any) work, whilst the white students are all weedy Aryan Brotherhood autistics who desperately require protection from the black students whilst anger ... Read More:

'2 Fast 2 Furious' is a fairly predictable sequel, but it delivers on the bottom line -- you want great car chases, you got great car chases. It is also another fine HD DVD effort from Universal. An often stunning transfer, aggressive Dolby Digital-Plus surround track and plenty of extras make this one a nice upgrade over the standard-def DVD release. Though lacking a Dolby TrueHD track and any genuine HD bonus content, it will still give your HD DVD home theater a real workout.
