Watched the first disc of the first season last night and CRIKEY! What a pile of of old rubbish this show is. A kind of soapy teen sci-fi with the worst of both worlds. I.e, poor script, poor characters and pathetically poor action scenes. Worst is seeing the Alba girl trying to rip off the Faith character from Buffy and dying painfully in the process. Awful to the point of funny. Axed after its 2nd season not without good reason. Avoid if you're over 13...

This was one of the best shows on tv at the time mainly due to ms alba. The first season was better but the second was nowhere near as bad some people think and it wasn`t cancelled just because it didn`t get the viewers apparently it`s viewing figures were pretty good, it was cancelled mainly because they wanted the slot for america`s next top model and the two main stars then went on to do other things, in jessica`s case become a big star in hollywood. As for ms alba`s acting, i`ve always thought she is a good actress, james cameron thought she was since she was the only one he wanted for the role. Great return for smallville, has everything from a mental Lex to a guy stealing Clarks girl (Lana). This series really shows what Clark can really do with the powers he has "so far". The overall plot on the third series is great and i can't wait for the forth to finish and come out on DVD, put me down for the first copy.

When I bought the first season of smallville, I was amazed at the level of entertainment that the show produced. I found myself, being drawn further and further into the show. So therefore I had to buy the second season, in hope that the same ambience would still be present. I was pleasently very very wrong! They had some how seen and worked out exactely what it was that was needed to inspire the hearts of viewers and grasped it firmly with both hands so that they could maximise this atmosphere in season 2 whilst entertaining the viewers. All I can say is, please bring out season 3 as soon as possible!!!

These episodes might have been the first ever individual episode, but they certainly arn't the worst! The first episode Parallax will have your brain working on overload for a long time. It's a complicated storyline that a true Star Trek fan will find tantilating. It also explores the relationship that's developing between the Maquis and the Starfleet crew. Secondly on this video, Time And Again, again shows how Star Trek Voyager does what it does best; really capture it's audience. In two means. It shows the quality of acting, and the developing relationships again between crew members. A definite yes from me!
