This film is a waste of money it's not only now really old but it is also so boring you would fall asleep.

The sequel to the hyped up musical event of 2006:High School Musical. When this first came out I did have doubts about it as many had said the first one was annoying and this and that. I had never seen the first one before i saw number 2. I admit to first seeing it as a dare from my immature friends and i actually enjoyed it. It has an ok story line, fun jump about and dance songs and some great lyrics. All of the cast have done a brilliant job on this film. And seriously, if ur one of those people who refuses to watch it cos its uncool or whatever, I did and i think its great. and a great follow up to HSM. Awesome film, don't miss out.

I was first introduced to this film as a child and have recently rediscovered it at age 23. I still love it. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are so hilarious as the evil Sanderson sisters and the musical numbers are fab. I agree there should be a soundtrack. Definately one to watch, kids will love it, I put it on for my younger brother and he loved it. The only thing that creeped him out was the talking cat, think Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This cat is Sarcastic, dry and ultmately hilarious. Give it a go people. Bette Midler is ace.

The High School Musical films are my absolute favourites - and the favourites of most of my friends too. This is the ultimate collection of the films, if you are as big a fan as me then buy this!

I'm writing this review for my 7 year old daughter. She thinks that this film is great. The singing is good, the dancing is good, the acting is good, the story is good - if you are a 7 old year old girl then the whole thing is great. From a parental point of view you can put this film on and let children watch it. There are no nasty undertones, like there are in Grease (which is mentioned in one of the other reviews), everythng is whiter than white, even the "nasty" characters all turn out good in the end. If you have a daughter then she will probably be singing and dancing to this for years - my son, however, can do without it.

High school musical is to chessy with a bad storyline. There is to much hype about high school musical and in truth it is really terrible. DON'T BUY THIS DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
