This DVD is a definite MUST for any nirvana fan, or someone wanting to get into their music. It has some brilliant shows/gigs of some of their best songs. Trust me, you won't be bored! It really makes you feel part of the scene, like you are at the concerts. A great DVD to watch with some mates, or to rave by yourself to.... ;) It contains (a few entertaining might a say) interviews and some footage that the band had shot themselves on a home movie camera. Yes, I would say that Cobain is probably drunk (or worse) in a few of the performances, but it makes it more entertaining!

Although this DVD is lacking in extras (there aren't any), the sheer quality and diversity of Green Day videos more than makes up for it! When it says 'Filmed at The Palace, Los Angeles, Ca' on the box you might think you're going to be watching the whole Ramones final show; which is not the case. However, on occasion, DVD's like that are somewhat boring, final show or not, so what you have here is footage from Ramones Live and TV appearances around the world, including The Simpsons, film the band camcordered themselves, interviews with leading rock personalities like Lemmy from Motorhead, Tina Weymouth from Talking Heads, Debbie Harry etc; and even though about 10 minutes of the footage, (from the band's frightening appearance in Brazil where thousands of fans wouldn't let their van leave the hotel to get to the airport), is also on the 'Raw' DVD, this is an excellent final tribute to this knockout ... Visually this is an amazing DVD set. All the classics from - what I believe - is DM's best period. Apart from the obvious monsters; Enjoy The Silence, Never Let Me Down Again, Policy Of Truth, etc you also get some nice obscure titles such as Little 15 and the fantabulous Only When I Lose Myself. I know others have cited problems with the sound, but I only have human ears and it sounds great to me.

this is a great dvd that every cypress hill fan should own. the first few tracks are taken from a concert they did and it is truely awe-inspiring. the fact that the security gaurds are helping the crowd on to the stage was great. shame a similar thing doesnt happen in this country. on a more technical note, the sound quality is spot on, with sufficent crowd noise from the rear speakers and the main rapping been split well over the front three speakers. the only downfall to this dvd is that the videos are all censored. i dont see why this is neccesary cos it is an 18 and because they have been swearing throughout the gig. apart form that this is a great dvd and is sitting proud next to rage against the machine and up in smoke an ...
