A well animated, fun adaptation that provides a different take on Tarzan. There are some excellent action sequences such as the fight between the Leopard Sabor and Tarzan. With the demise of the Leopard Tarzan unknowingly avenges the death of his human parents and earns the respect of his new family. Other good action sequences include the capture and the liberation of the apes.

The story is well written and the sequence where Kerchak finally repents and accepts Tarzan after being shot is particularly touching. Romance is obviously provided in the shape of Jane and she finally opts to choose Tarzan ahead of a return to England.

Terk and Tantor are Tarzan's sidekicks and they help enrich the movie by providing much of the humour, the baby ... Read More:

I'm struggling to understand why other reviewers for this appalling film don't point out the lifelessness of the main human 'romantic' leads; the self-parodying OTT performance by Glenn Close or the overall naffness of a sequel that just should not have been made. Infants may just like it, but they'd need to be pretty easily pleased. No - this film proves two things ... the current dirth of talent and imagination at the top in Disney, and the fact that unless sequels are based upon an established story, then they are generally best avoided. That's my advice for this film - give it the widest berth you can manage.

DVD : Enchanted [2007] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This is the story of a cartoon princess who ends up being banished to the real New York as a human one - only she retains her cartoon ideas in our bustling 21st century world. As such, it is another example of the 'fish out of water' type film such as Crocodile Dundee or Splash and it has plenty of scope for laughs.

The plot is predictable (prince rescues princess) but then it IS a parody of the prince-rescues-princess films that Disney have pumped out since Snow White, 70 years ago. For sending up themselves Disney should be applauded, but while it is amusing with some gags, they are quite lame, even if you are 8 years old. Shrek 1, for instance, has far higher quality jokes. The CG rodent is as annoying as Jah Jah Binks in Star Wars and most of the cast are ... Read More:

No matter how many times I watch, I'm always get carried away with the jokes, touching moments and Eloise's carefree acts. It is such an entertaining and also heart moving movie.

The lines used from The Little Prince also add more value to the plot and I felt so much when Eloise's little prince say it in the memory of his mother.

It worths every second to watch this cause you just don't wanna miss Eloise's next witty move ;P
