There is very little I can add to the many favourable reviews this classic Dynamic Duo adventure has already received here on Amazon. This is the Batman I remember from my early teens, and will always be the real thing as far as I'm concerned!

Unless I have missed it, none of the other reviewers have mentioned the sad fact that when it comes to Adam West and Burt Ward this film is pretty much it! No sign of any of the 120 TV episodes on DVD is to be found here, or even in the U.S., nor any mention of why that might be.

The simple explanation seems to be the fact that Warner Brothers own the rights to the Batman characters whilst Fox own the actual programmes themselves! Various websites give a more detailed explanation, ... Read More:

I have just purchased this title as part of my growing nostalgia collection. Growing up as a child in the Seventies I remember every boy in my school wanted to be Steve Austin and every girl - Jamie Sommers. The slow motion action sequences making them both easy imitate.

What you have here is a spin-off series that at times surpassed its parent. THE BIONIC WOMAN was written with a lot more heart than T.S.M.D.M. and this, coupled with an extremely well selected leading lady, gives the show a more enduring quality. Okay, by modern standards the episodes look cheap and filmed on a shoestring. But they still make enguaging viewing today. And remember that, at the time, this was state-of-the-art TV.

All in all a tidy little box set ... Read More:

I think the question above about sums up this "film". To be perfectly honest if I could have given this film 0 stars out of 5 I would have. Compared to this alleged film Boredom Beaters 3 is a masterpiece. And no, I'm not remaining annonymous for fear of repurcussions. It's because I had this DVD as a Christmas present(more like a Christmas puniahment!) and wouldn't want to offend anyone. I hope this review will act as a warning to future people intent on buying crappy presents for people. BORING!

I have just finnished watching Volume 1 of The Bionic Woman and enjoyed it very much. The Sound and picture quality are so amazing it does look as though it hadf just been made today not 20 odd years ago. Only one problem is that they should release the whole series and not one disc with three episodes from each season. Please Playback could you please bring out more episodes to DVD Thank you

DVD : The Bionic Woman - The Return Of The Bionic Woman - Parts 1 And 2 [1976]
A great double episode of a classic series. Well constructed story that is a continuation of the previous double episode. Lindsay Wagner is showing off her talents as an actress and generates sympathy with her charismatic appearance.
A must for anybody who has seen it in the past and was captured by the concept of the series!

This DVD contains the two-part episode "Welcome home, Jamie". This is the first episode considered as the separate spin-off from the Six Million Dollar Man.

Jamie Sommers has just undergone yet another operation ( #3 ) to alieviate the pain from her flashbacks of memory. She returns to Ojai, Calif, to settle down in her barn-loft (with Steve Austin's parents), starts teaching at the Ventura Airforce base, and unknowingly becomes the object of her first solo mission.

This episode introduces us to her domestic life when not assigned O.S.I. missions.

All three introductory episodes: "the bionic woman", "the return of the bionic woman", and "welcom home, jamie" are must sees and thankfully available through Amazon.

I also wish Universal-MCA ... Read More:
