Mulan 2 is the sequal to the classic story of the girl who took her father's armour and when off to join the chinese army to fight off the invading Huns. This story is about Mulan and Chang escorting Three Princess across China Mulan seem a lot more modern in this film and the princess end up with the soliders from the frist movie. Mulan and Chang clash a lot more in this movie and the music isn't that great but Eddie Murphy returns as the wise cracking Dragon and lifts in slightly but it lost some of the magic the original had but as nearly always the classic is always better.

I always loved the story of Mulan, I remember seeing it in the cinema when I was very little and I just fell in love with the beautiful settings and the powerful story of one woman's struggle to fight against the huns without anyone knowing her true idenity. So I bought it and I loved it even more, there are some lovely songs and colourful people you just adore. There are some grown-up themes in this that make it more intresting but some children may not understand them. Mulan 2 is not as good as the first but it's a feel-good one with love and honour and some funny moments with Mushu (shame that Eddie Murphy only voiced the first and not the second) In all, a very beautiful and enchanting stories in one boxset.

I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this. So I was very suprised when I loved it from start to finish! It has everything we have come to expect of a classic Disney film.. a strong hero/heroine, a hilarious sidekick character, a great soundtrack and a beautiful display of animation. Yes, it really is a great film, with a powerful story and some great characters. Highly recommended.
