This is 80's shoot 'em up heroics at their best. Arnie is perfect as a one man army in this nun blasting piece of action cinema. It's daft but superb fun.

Being a huge fan of Tia Carrere,and to enjoy a good old fashioned tale,were the reasons I bought this film.Dolph Lundgrun and Brandon Lee take on some really nasty Japanese Yakuza.The film doesn't take itself seriously though.I enjoyed it a lot,and loved the scene where the good guys get tortured,and have to rescue the gorgeous Tia from a burning end!Just enjoy it!

Arnie's back, this time as Matrix, a guy who was involved in the special services. He's been hunted down after they discover the identities of the people who did bad deeds under the name of the law. They want Matrix to kill the president, so they can take charge of a Latin American island. They're seriously considering killing his daughter, so Matrix has to be fast! This is a fun movie if you like action adventure, but the plot is a bit thin on the ground - but if you want guns and guts this will please you no end. Shame the transfer is poor - MPEG2 running at a steady 30MB/s, but the picture quality is just not convincing: moments in the film look grainy and over-compressed; and the sound even has a few pops and clicks along the ... i tried so hard to be gripped by this, i love anything to do with Stephen King so i really wanted to like this but it was no use, life is too short to pretend i like some films, i cant like everything, and i didnt like this.

An excellent piece of late 80's action horror. Featuring some cyborg teacher killing machines, gun fights, explosions and gang warfare on motorbikes, what more could you want? Featuring some very impressive special effects and stop-frame animation similar to that in Terminator 1, the level of gore is also impressive. Class Of 1999 [1989]

This film is really vile. It plays on the urban paranoia of the 70s/80s and puts it into a school context. I'm not saying that urban crime wasn't a problem for a lot of people or that schools weren't/aren't problem areas but this vile piece of exploitation takes the biscuit. Violence is beyond anything realistically imaginable but in this case it's not a case of social issues but a white, upper-middle class student uses it to turn himself into the crime kingpin of his local high schoiol. And of course he knows how to play the system. Does that sound familiar. Yes. This turd is pure violent exploitation, a really nasty piece of work.
