This film is ok, the acting was quite poor and the story line a little non existent but on the whole it's watchable. Jamie Winstone is great in it. Don't watch it if you don't understand the youths of today's lingo as the whole film contains it. Apart from that I'd watch it again.... on a rainy day!

This film is one of the greatest british films that has come out recently, definitly up there with This is England for its gritty reality! With a great cast and fantastic soundtrack! Well worth a watch!!!

Well it's got good production values, a fair amount of hype to ensure it gets bought. Ultimately this is a shining example of why having children should be considered a privilege, not a right. A great argument for forced neutering amongst the great unwashed.

I never saw this on telly but thought I would give it a try on DVD, a good decision as it turns out. James Nesbitt plays undercover cop Tommy Murphy, a man whose life has been shattered by the murder of his daughter, split up from his wife he returns to work but in London instead of his previous post in Ireland and soon begins to ruffle feathers. Unconventional, uncompromising and only too happy to rattle a few cages to get things done. At the outset the character of Murphy is solemn but as the 1st series progresses he becomes very funny and Nesbitt carries off the show with a disarming display of wit and charm. Absolutley class film,takes me rite back to the disco buiscute stage.If youve been and done the raves and the ibiza this film will make you really laugh in places,if you havnt been and done it you wont even notice some of the jokes.The bit where greg is in the bar and hae just tries really makes me laugh

dreary cash-in after the successful first series. it appears as if the writer lost interest in this halfway through, because there are untied strings and loose threads when it finishes - suddenly and thoughtlessly. a hackneyed, drivelling and slapped-on ending will leave you disappointed. (and please don't pay the full asking price for this. you WILL be disappointed.)
