Disc One- `Razor' and Bonus Material
Disc Two- Episodes One to Four
Disc Three- Episodes Five to Eight
Disc Four- Episodes Nine to Ten and Bonus Material

Outer cardboard sleeve has a pretty cool silver aesthetic, although the shiny surface shows up fingerprints quite prominently, while the inner plastic cases are stylish and functional. The only thing I found slightly annoying with the disc set-up is that the extended feature `Razor is on disc one, so season four doesn't begin until the second disc, which was initially infuriating for me when in desperate haste to view the continuation of `Crossroads, Part II" I made the mistake of sticking the first disc into my DVD player. I had never seen the original Battlestar Galactica and watched this mini series because it was cheap and I saw it had reasonable reviews. BSG is now my favorite TV show. The characters are complex and believable, the story is dark yet superbly told and the show combines stellar acting with some fantastic action sequences. As a whole the series manages to be compelling in many ways. The music and CGI are top notch and the wonderful cast add depth to every issue that gets raised and many are. This is no black and white story as it hinted at in the mini series and it is astounding how deep it all gets while never losing sight of the struggles of the amazingly well defined and diverse characters.

The mini series itself was the first thing ... Read More:

It's really hard to sell the complete 1-4 seasons, considering the second half of the 4th season hasn't been made yet.

The second half of the final season will only air sometime in 2009.

This package should be called "Battlestar Galactica - Series 1-3 + first half of season 4".

I haven't read all of the Vampire Chronicles - in fact, nowhere near. But I'm working on it. I'm definitely a fan of the books and think Anne Rice invents wonderful characters and that films need to work hard to do justice to the books. And this, the second in the series of books and films, certainly impressed me.

Despite being called The Queen of the Damned, this film is the story of legendary vampire Lestat, played by Stuart Townsend. In the beginning of the film, Lestat has been in a decades-long slumber due to his dissatisfaction with the world. He detests his life as one of the Undead, resenting the fact he has to spend it alone, and hidden in the shadows. In his coffin, he has been listening to the world go on without him, until he hears music that ... Read More:

DVD : In Too Deep [2000]
I didn't know what to expect when I saw this movie, as I was in the middle of a two or three-month stretch of renting out nothing but "hood" movies, most of which were fairly mediocre. Here, though, I wasn't disappointed.

I'd never seen Omar Epps in a movie before this one, and I have to admit, I was pretty shocked that such an amazing actor had passed me by without my noticing. His role isn't an easy one to play - it could so easily have been overacted - yet he gives a flawless performance as a troubled man trying to figure out where his loyalties lie. LL Cool J fills out his role very well, making a menacing - if vaguely cliched - drug lord, and Stanley Tucci brings a sense of comfort and lightness as the police chief and Epps' mentor.

It is Epps, ... Read More:
