DVD : Veronica Mars: The Complete Third Season (REGION 1) (NTSC)
I whole-heartedly agree with the review as given by Ray Blake from Hemel Hempstead, UK (below). Ray, I couldn't have put it better myself.

Basically, you'll all be a little disappointed with this season. Although it still remains a great show, you wont find yourself as gripped as you were with the previous two seasons, and will find yourself bored with some episodes and wanting to skip ahead of some dialogues.

Somehow, ths season's "Veronica Mars at College" approach tries to mature the show and the stories too much... including Mars herself. We just aren't getting the same great chemistry and witty banter going on between Veronica and her dad as we saw in the previous two seasons. Also... not that I am going to spoil ... Read More:

I wanted to add my own pleas to those of others - I would buy as many series of Malcolm as they put out in a UK-compatible format. My family and I absolutely loved this show - so witty original and classy compared to much of what IS freely available.

DVD : Veronica Mars: The Complete Second Season [2005] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This series is only available on region 1 (US import).

Veronica is a wannabe PI who (not unlike Jessica Fletcher) manages to interfer in her classmates lives and families. Each episode is leading to the big show down in the final episode when all the outstanding issues are supposed to come together so we discover who is behind the bus crash, etc. Except that it doesn't make sense, in one case the accused was with little Miss Mars herself when she said that they committed a certain action, but it's only on second viewing that you see the faults with the end result.

According to the website it was just before the final episode was filmed that they got the green light for season 3 and changed the story at the last minute so that ... Read More:

Given that the whole series hasnt yet been shown on BBC Three and was hooked after episode one, I couldnt help but buy this.

Whilst I loved the actual show, the dvd represents very little other than that. Although there is an excellent extended play of Darwin Lied.

To be honest, you can get way more 'extras' in the BBC Three Greek uncovered programme on straight after its shown on a Sunday.

DVD : The Dead Zone: The Complete Second Season (REGION 1) (NTSC)
After I'd finished watching the entire first season DVD set and started reading people's opinions here of this 2nd-season set, I paid no attention to the negative reviews because I loved the first season so much, but for me the second season is definitely a mixed bag, more so than the first at least. The majority of the episodes are good and there are even a few really outstanding episodes (i.e. Precipitate/The Man Who Never Was/Deja Voodoo/The Hunt), but there are also some very average, if not really uninspired episodes too.

The first 3 episodes in particular do no justice to the over-all quality of the season- it's not that they don't follow on from the season 1 cliffhanger (armageddon), as that is satisfactorily drawn-out across the entire season ... Read More:

IT is a great show but I wish the prodecers would release all the episodes on DVD. It would be the best box set ever to be produced! Please when is it going to be released?
