This is the one I put on! Have had a videoed version from the TV for a long time but it wore a bit thin from over-use so have just replaced with DVD version. There's so much to like...the beautiful scenery for a start, the chap who plays Matthew (double yum), the heart-warming tale of community spirit (where did it go?..) the goofy dealer who plays dungeons and dragons, looks like he might duff you up but plays bouncy folk music in his wacky car, and the bit with Matthew and Grace are alone on the beach which cracks me up every single time - I mean really, laugh out loud stuff, it's contagious and a real boost to your health! No deep and meaningful story but it's so English and charming and lovable, just like Martin Clunes! Wonderful.

Cold Feet is one of the best british made shows ever-bar none. I watched series 1-4 when it was first shown on ITV and I bought this complete collection mainly to see series 5 as I never got to watch it[was working away]and what a trip down memory lane it was. I had forgotten how funny and heart-breakingly sad it can be.The cast is truly superb.Special mention must go to John Thomson as Pete.That bloke cracks me up and have loved him since his Paul Calf 'Fat Bob' days. This collection saw me through my maternity leave,where i laughted like a drain and cried buckets many an evening.[no it wasn't me hormones] Do yourselves a favour this winter,buy this collection,get a box of chocs and and wrap yourself up in a nice duvet and watch until your hearts ... As you can see from above, this film has had great reviews but I however thought the film was quite weak and predictable. I didn't feel any connection with the characters and was glad when the movie ended.

I missed this series when shown on TV this has to be a must see ! I mean all 5 series too !

There never has been , and I don't think there ever will be a series as excellent as Cold Feet. This superbly casted series has made me both laugh and cry over the years (I've watched these DVDs so often, I think I might need to replace some of them!!!). The storyline is very realistic and while mostly humorous, treats delicate issues with an intuitive sensitivity. If you haven't seen this series already, go out and buy it.
