I didn^t watch this when it was on Living t.v. But tried the box set because of the fantastic cheap price. I^m glad I did. A better choice than Kyle Schmid should of been made for the lead Vampire role. Someone slightly older and more charismatic would of been better. But otherwise it^s good entertaining viewing. The box set is good picture/sound quality. Shame there^s no extras at all. Would of been nice to see behind the scenes. The question is now: Will there be a season 2 out on DVD box set in the future.?

All of stargate sg1 is the best t.v ever but the earlier seasons are the best, especially the ones with the goa'uld. Apophis is the second best bad guy ever (after Ba'al, see season 5 onwards). 'Children of Gods' and 'Within the serpents grasp' (Both in season one) are two of the best episodes ever.

I love this adventure, pure escapism. I'm a fan of Stargate and when this spin off came out I was a bit worried but I got hooked from the first episode and still am!!! in fact I would even go as far as to say I like it better. And what about John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) cor! could watch him all day!! But on a more serious note, I hope this lasts as long as SG1 and carries on being as good. The stories are great and every episode transports you to another place. Keep it up!!!

Stargate Rocks. Seasons one and three are better than season two but it still rocks.'The serpents lair' and 'Thors Chariot' are two of the best episodes ever and the asgard and the tok'ra are very cool.

Stargate SG1 volume 27 is so far one of the best volumes i have seen of series 6. I know there has only been one other volume of series 6 but i think this volume is much better. I haven't got Sky so haven't seen series 6 yet, if vol 27 is anything to go by then i am looking forward to 28. This volume brings out the sides of the characters to their potential especially in Abyss when you see the emotional side of Colonel O'Neill one of which we never really see especially his relationship with Dr Jackson. Also in Night Walkers, Colonel O'Neill does not appear as he is still a Tok'ra so it gives the other characters a chance to shine through. This DVD is a must have for all Stargate fans. Between Two Fires:- Great episode involving the Tolan who get themselves into trouble with the Goa'uld again. This time though they have pu the whole Earth in grave danger. It is always nice to see the Tollan getting themselves into a pickle as they think the yare so great. 2001:- SG-1 find another ally they think they can get technology off but fail yet again, much to the annoyance to senator kinsey. Desperate Measures:- A great episode with the main eye on Sam Carter and her symbiot. Maybourne again gets involved in his own devious way. Wormhole X-Treme:- If you buy this DVD for any reason att all let it be this episode. the famous 100th Stargate episode. You get to see a spoof TV show of Stargate. ... Read More:

It is always hard to get your head round a spin off series but Stargate atlantis has got me hooked. The new team is great and the story lines are put together very well. If you likes SG1 you will not be disapointed with Atlantis

I first saw the character of Jonas Quinn (Daniel's replacement) in an episode well in to series six, and was not much impressed. However, one really has to see the episodes here that fill out his character, back story and motivation to understand, and learn to love the guy. The stories are exciting, with plenty of genuine jeopardy and much of the wonderful interaction between characters that is one of the main reasons why people love Stargate. So, Daniel fans, wipe away your tears and learn to love the new gorgeous geek in town - Mr Jonas quinn of Kolowna (not the one in Canada!)
