This film is a total rip off of mean machine, it totally copies it, even a lot of the script is the same,this film is rubbish you can even tell buy the price,mean machine has been out 5 years longer then the longest yard and they are both the same price, BUY MEAN MACHINE, much better Mean Machine [2001]

Not being a great fan of Adam Sandler - i was very apprehensive about watching this DVD - what a surprise , not a lugh out loud comedy , but a very well thought out light hearted romantic drama very much in the genre of the beautiful Alec Baldwin film "Prelude to a Kiss" . Gentle , understanding and warm . You'll love this one - it will captivate you the further you watch it .

I absolutely love Sandler and Nickolson but when they work together they make a fantastic double act! I have never laughed so much in my life as I did during some of the scenes in this film. It is very well written with some hysterical moments of pure comedy. I recommend this to any Sandler fan, it is an enjoyable watch wit some witty characters.

Get Smart is good fun. It never takes itself too seriously and has a good mix of action and comedy. There are some great setpieces, a few fantastic lines and the cast is very impressive. There's also a great bit during a symphony concert that had me in fits of laughter. Great light entertainment.

When this film was first released I really loved this film. Fast forward ten years... Well, I read all of the reviews below and thought 'I have to buy this DVD'. Hmmm... I love Farley and Spade, both are hilariously funny, but this film just doesn't work that well. There are a couple of very funny moments, but on the whole this film just dragged. Kinda reminds me of the Marx Bros. : very, very funny comedians stuck with horrible scripts and cheesy Hollywood films. Oh well, it is only a couple of quid, and like I said it was pretty funny a few times...
