This film took me back to being a child - I remember having the album and going to see it at the pictures. I bought it for my daughter who is 8 thinking she might like it. She loves it to bits and would watch it every night if she could. I too enjoyed watching it again. The songs are catchy and the dance routines are fab. Definately deserves its place in the top 100.I would say to those miserable people who have given it a bad review - if you hated it that much you should have stopped watching! Get a life!

I bought this, took it home and wrapped it for my child's birthday, and when she handled the parcel it began to sing "You're the One that I Want!" It was so funny, I didn't notice the little button on the box, and I'd somehow avoided hitting it. I could say more about the video, etc., but this is Grease! 1950s teen America recreated in all its black leather and pink satin glory in a boy/girl relationship musical. Cute and cheesy.

Perhaps not that well-known, but a really nice film- really heartwarming. Typical Disney in many ways, White Fang sets its own pace and gently eases you into what is a lovely story about a young man's adventure into the unknown. A great story, well acted, superbly shot- all in all a nice film. I'd definitely recommend it. Just be aware of some hairy dog-fights though!

The Blue Lagoon staring Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins is based on the 1903 novel written by Henry DeVere Stacpoole. The film follows two small children (Em & Richard) who are stranded on a remote tropical island with a cook after surviving a fire on their ship. Sadly however, the cook later dies and both children and left to fend for themselves. The pair grow closer over time and after entering adolescence become lovers.

I was surprised to find that a lot of my friends have either never seen the film, or have never even heard of it. But despite this, I found The Blue Lagoon to be a movie of pure beauty and innocence that offers plenty of reasons for the viewer to watch. Firstly the shot locations and scenery shown in the film ... Read More:

When Honey, I Shrunk The Kids came around, it was a cinematic great, being one of the best-selling films in the late 80s, flash forwards to 1992 and it's sequel was this and holds true to the edict of films being that the sequel never betters the original.

Here we follow the Szalinski family after another accident with the ray, this time enlarging their new addition to the family, their toddler. What ensues is a chase after the child to Las Vegas after being found to be prone to electromagnetic disruption, causing any eletcrical to act arkwardly.

The film suffers from bad scripting and relying heavily on slapstick jokes to make up for what is a patchy plot upon what already was a thin storyline, borrowing a lot from its predecessor.

Lovewrecked will appeal mainly to young teenagers. If you like bright, sunny, colourful islands with lots of green palm trees in sight then this is a film worth seeing. The story however and the humour in the film are not so good and I think a little confusing at times especially when people talk too fast.I bought this film because it had chris carmack - of OC fame in it - and he was convincing as the arrogant and talentless rock star who is adored the world over - presumably for his looks. For interesting and humorous dialogue in a sunny location get the OC instead. And for a better impersonation of mary-kate and ashley and jennifer aniston buy any of the films that they star in instead of this one with amanda bynes.
