What a film!. Everyone should watch & understand what we on earth might end up like.

This Film offers good acting with limited effects, offering none stop chilling action story from start to end.

The story allows you to wounder what Soylent Green is about, & why are the rich always better off.

I read most of the reviews before renting from Amazon offering good inside to this film.

Should you watch too, then yes. I would like to see this film played out each year on T.V for all to see.

Rent it, be completely taken away to our Earth World! & the problems we might find in the future, if we dont stop & think first.

The film gives a good view if ... Read More:

This is a very atmospheric thriller with excellent performances by the cast, especially Richard Attenborough.

However, this film is based on the book of the same name, and suffers from the same faults.

It passes off as fact what is uncertain in order to present the viewer with a black and white interpretation of these murders. It is far from certain that Christie killed Beryl and Geraldine Evans and the subsequent enquiries concluded that evansd probably did kill his wife. Such interpretations are eschewed here in order to get the film's message across. Poor history, but good entertainment.

This film version of Jules Verne's novel, "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" has few, if any flaws. It won Oscars for art direction and special effects (deservedly) and the performances (especially James Mason and Kirk Douglas) were overlooked at Oscar time, probably because science fiction is often not taken seriously.

"20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" was a favorite book of mine as a child, and the movie is true to the novel. James Mason is perfect as Captain Nemo, a rogue scientist/inventor/businessman who rejects the barbarity of the "civilized" world and mounts an undersea war against those who make war and ravage the sea. Paul Lukas plays a scientist who is rescued by Nemo, along with Lukas' aide (a perpetually frightened and bewildered Peter Lorre) and their ... Read More:

Tora! Tora! Tora! is a film concerned with the broad sweep of the attack on Pearl Harbour rather than select individuals. It is both detailed and accurate which gives it something many war films lack. However, it lacks pace and keeping up with the number of characters involved can be diffcult but overall it is a good film.

Just watched this movie again for the first time in thirty years, haven't seen it since it was a favorite sunday afternoon flick when I was about ten and unbelievably, IT STILL ROCKS!

I have read some reviews about the cheesy effects but then there's something great about a movie where your imagination is required to fill in the gaps. I haven't seen a movie in years that left me on tender hooks from start to finish like this. Truly magnificent sci-fi classic.

To see this movie in restored 235.1 widescreen is a sheer joy and the two channel stereo track works perfectly on a surround system, it's the closest you will get to seeing the origional cinema release. The movie score is intense and what more can you say for a movie that has Raquel Welsh in a skin tight 'white' wet suit. ... Read More:

Barabbas with Anthony Quinn is from 1962 and now looks very dated. But it is a film from it's day and as such can still be enjoyed.
